On any mountain, a dry tree grows, that is the demon arrow. The head of the dry tree on top is round, called the brain ornament. The dry tree head on the right is flat, called the scepter of the earth. The dry tree on the left has a curved top, called tilling the ground with a hoe. The dry tree on the west has only one leg, it is to collect the food scraps of gods and demons. The tree at the foot is a firm stake, it is the tree brother connecting the front ridge, because it is the root of wealth, so it is good. Use apples to attract horses, use fish to attract otters, use mutton to attract tigers, use female yaks to attract bears, use cows to attract bulls. Many kinds of trees gather together, it is a blessed place to enjoy complete wealth. To fully understand the tree arrow is to be studied. The method of judging good and bad is shown: the front and back are snow mountains and white rocks, judged as nine and lion. If it is tilted, it is judged as the king. Similarly, the difference between tilting and bending is: yellow is judged as tiger and minister, red is judged as wolf and soldier, black is judged as bear and subject. The flat slate above is called the slate on the top of the head. There are rock steps on it, and the two ends are bent inward, because it is the earth god and the back ghost, so it should be discarded. The slates on the left and right fall down like doors, and the small basket below is considered a watchdog. Grasp the rope above, and all the fixed piles below, etc., because there are many good and bad and wealth land, so be careful. Showing the good and bad of the road is: the road in the east is the road of friends, the road in the south is the road of glory, the road in the west is the road of the dead, the road in the north is the road of enemies. Cut off by the road from above, it is called the yoke of the back of the neck. Meeting and inserting below, the palms overlapping is good. Insert up and down and walk straight white. Many roads intersect, it is the mouth and tongue that never stop. Showing the good and bad of the valley is: the dry valley above is the merchant, the dry valley below is the person who buys things, the dry valley on the right is the person who stacks firewood, the dry valley on the left is the place where beggars are born. The dry valley above meets and inserts, it is the high person who suppresses the neck. The deep dry valley below is where people and wealth fall into the hole. Many valleys without water are where the family goes to poverty. Below are grasslands, hillsides, etc., all holes and scars are bad. Showing the five good things that will never be cut off are: mandala, stupa, throne and vajra.
