The Great Compassionate (Avalokiteśvara)'s Red Instruction, Mahamudra and Dzogchen Yuganaddha, the Dharma of Hearing with Meaning, Seventeenth Lecture, Dzogchen Instruction. (Tsa) The Great Compassionate (Avalokiteśvara)'s Red Instruction, Mahamudra and Dzogchen Yuganaddha, the Dharma of Hearing with Meaning, Seventeenth Lecture, Dzogchen Instruction. Homage to the Great Compassionate One! The profound oral instructions of the Great Compassionate One, by looking with eyes like bubbles, the instruction of Dzogchen, the Clear Light Tögal, which gives rise to the eye of wisdom, is also closely related to the Red Instruction of the Great Compassionate One. King Songtsen Gampo said, "This Dharma of the Great Compassionate One is also Dzogchen," and so on, extensively. In the 'Vast Expanse of Clarity,' it says, "To establish faith, tell the history." Similarly, the glorious Samantabhadra said, "As the lineage is, so it is told." In the 'Tantra of the Union of the Sun and Moon,' it says, "Thereafter, the history should be told. If the history is not told truthfully, then for this definitive teaching of the great secret, it will become a fault of disbelief." Thus, in order to generate faith, to allow blessings to enter, and to generate certainty, the great qualities of the lineage should be told. Among them, initially, when there was no distinction between Buddhas and sentient beings, the glorious Samantabhadra became enlightened without delusion. Since there is no other Buddha beyond that, he is called the First Buddha, the common ancestor of all Buddhas. Sentient beings wander in samsara because they do not recognize their own face. At that time, Samantabhadra, from the emptiness of the Dharmakaya, arose as the Rupakaya, namely, the Great Vajradhara, and the Boy Inconceivable Light, and Unmoving Light, and the Teacher Fear-Savior, and the Teacher Youthful Playful Love, and the Teacher Vajradhara, and the Teacher Youthful Hero Powerful One, and the Teacher Sage Radiant King, and the Teacher Golden Light Holy One, and the Teacher Loving Playful Intelligence, and the Teacher Kashyapa the Elder, and the Teacher Manifest King, and the Teacher Shakyamuni. These twelve past teachers spoke of the tantras of Dzogchen.
