The Fifteenth Teaching on Practice from the Great Compassion Red Teaching, Mahamudra Completion, Union, Hearing with Meaning. The Fifteenth Teaching on Practice from the Great Compassion Red Teaching, Mahamudra Completion, Union, Hearing with Meaning. (B) The Fifteenth Teaching on Practice from the Great Compassion Red Teaching, Mahamudra Completion, Union, Hearing with Meaning is complete. Homage to the Great Compassionate One! The profound secret instruction of Great Compassion. The method of practicing the meaning of introduction. From the Tantra of the Dakini, Luminous Space Blazing: Whatever sudden thoughts arise, they are the skill of awareness, so there is no need to negate them. As thoughts vanish, non-thought increases. In the mind... with various states of realization arising, be bewildered in emptiness, abide there. The past Dharmakaya. Beyond mind... the mind is clear and empty, radiant. The complete Sambhogakaya. Grasping... this grasping has no substance. The Nirmanakaya free from grasping. As suffering arises, bliss increases. The greater the afflictions, the sharper the wisdom. The larger the woodpile, the greater the fire blazes. The greater the grasping of subject and object, the greater the portion of liberation. The greater the ice, the greater the water is born. As clouds gather, great rain falls. Suddenly loosen the snake knot. Abandon it like a corpse. Discard it like a foul odor. If you block it, it will spread again. If you chase it away, it will return again. If you tighten it, it will swell again. If you suppress it, it will stiffen again. If you burn it, it will freeze again. Release and let go of negation and affirmation. Mixing mind and awareness, from the nature of The chapter on Trekchö. Mind and awareness are inseparable, great bliss. Thinking, "Samsara abides here," all doubts dissolve in their own place. In the inseparable great bliss, the three bodies. There, meet Samantabhadri. Recognize thoughts as your own guru. Guru and self-awareness are inseparable and radiate. Request empowerment from the thoughts themselves. Awareness is self-luminous, able to stand on its own. Protect the vows in various ways. Break the boundaries of protection, decide for yourself. Examine the body of the thoughts themselves. Recognize yourself as the body of the Tathagata. Examine the speech of the thoughts themselves. Recognize yourself in the sound-emptiness speech. Examine the wisdom of the thoughts themselves. Recognize yourself nakedly in the awareness-emptiness. Clear and vast in everything. Primordially liberated, unmade, natural.

Self-liberation and naturalness. Effortless spontaneity, without action. What is called awareness, is awareness because it is aware and clear. The previous thought dissolves in its own place, and the subsequent clinging to it does not arise. In between, there is no need for antidotal remedies. This stainless, pure division should be recognized as awareness. Its essence is emptiness, its nature is clarity, and its compassion has the ability to appear to all. This is the reality of awareness. Also, diligently practice skill on the six consciousnesses, and display the skill of awareness on form. Experience the great clarity and emptiness. So it is said. In the Two Examinations: Why not meditate with the mind, but meditate on all beings. Having fully known all dharmas, meditation itself is not meditation. So it is said. In the Guhyasamaja: Without objects, there is no meditation. The object of meditation is not meditation. Thus, because of objects and non-objects, meditation has no object. So it is said. The Great Brahmin said: This mind bound by ropes, if loosened, there is no doubt of liberation. By what thing is ignorance bound? The wise are completely liberated by that. So it is said. Just as a flame spreads through a forest, all appearances that come before you, practice together with the emptiness that is the root of the mind. So it is said. In the Two Examinations: By whatever the world is bound, by that very thing it is liberated from bondage. If that is not known, the world is not liberated, and if that is abandoned, accomplishment cannot be attained. So it is said. Attachment binds the world, but desire itself is liberation. This reversal meditation is not known by Buddhas or non-Buddhists. So it is said. In the instructions of Avalokiteśvara to Mitra Joki: Whatever arises is inherently primordial, and if whatever appears is not forgotten by mindfulness, that appearance is the self-nature of emptiness. The king of yogis is not eaten by demons. Whatever appears is all that, and that has never appeared anywhere. Therefore, what is born is unborn, and the unborn is the manner of birth. So it is said. The Great Brahmin said: Whatever emanates from the mind, that is the nature of the protector (Tibetan: མགོན་པོ།, Sanskrit: nātha, Romanized Sanskrit: nātha, literal meaning: protector), are water and waves two different things? Existence and suchness are the nature of space. So it is said. The Lord Maitripa said: In the unborn, conceptual thoughts are adventitious, and those conceptual thoughts are also of the Dharma.
