The front of a ridge cliff and a place where the ground resembles hair of blood are the abodes of bTsan. Dense forests are the abodes of demons. Rocky shelters, canyons, ravines, caves, and glaciers are the abodes of Dam sri and The'u rang. Female demons reside. Empty houses, ruins, herders' remains, streets, intersections, and marketplaces are the abodes of Be rag and male and female ghosts. Cemeteries, mortuaries, prisons, places of death, and places where heroes have been killed in battle are the abodes of Ma mo and death lords. The corridors of temples, the corridors of treasuries, old monasteries, house corners, meditation rooms, and secluded places are the abodes of kings and wealth deities. Fourth: The steadfast gait of a yogi is: to walk with wisdom as nourishment. The symbolic gait of a dakini is: to walk with a light dance using the feet. The sinuous gait of a black snake is: to walk with wisdom twisting back and forth. The mad elephant's gait is: to walk with wisdom sometimes fast and sometimes slow. The time to go is: to go to dangerous places at dusk and midnight. The time to return is: the custom is to return at dawn. Fifth, there are two types: common and specific. First, the common: To be able to perform Chöd in dangerous places, one must possess four great qualities: Realization equal to the sky, with a strong backing of emptiness; a great heart of compassion, and a generous mind of giving with little attachment; understanding all the key points of the holy Dharma, with extensive learning; and tireless diligence, with deep practice. Also, there are two types: the order of visualization for subjugation and the actual visualization for summoning. The first is divided into actual and incidental. The first is before going: ཕཊཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari Sanskrit, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)! In my heart, there is a vajra of myself. Flying like a bird, it lands in the center of the dangerous place. From there, the vajra iron hook emanates light. Hooking and summoning all the ghosts and spirits residing there. Tightly binding them with burning iron chains. When starting to walk, blow the leg-bone trumpet. To the left, right, front, back, above, below, and the ten directions. Mountains, trees, springs, and so on. All the assemblies of ghosts residing there, come to me! I will satisfy you with desires. Upon arriving at the dangerous place, dance in four directions. Blow the leg-bone trumpet. (Tibetan, Devanagari Sanskrit, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)! Today, to destroy the armies of the four maras. I, the yogi, perform a joyful dance. The dance of the four classes of dakinis is

Ukse Khyuk. Destroying the conceptual thoughts of the four maras, Alala! Then, when setting up the low table and spreading the cushion, say Phat! Then, the lower pressing and so on should be done according to the ritual. Now, the characteristics of the fierce places are to examine each place. Mountains, lakes, springs, trees, rocks, boulders, and the key points of the earth. The differences in each depend on the fierce place. The top of the mountain is the highest part of the fierce place. White, black, red, blue, yellow, and purple. The types are different distinctions. It is said that the malicious ones reside there. When mixed and appearing, the high place is fierce. When the peaks appear aligned, the middle is fierce. When the boundary appears, the spear point is fierce. When one heap appears, the spring is fierce. That is also the characteristic of the mountain. If it is white and oily, it is not suitable for work. If it is red and rough, it is very cunning. If it is black and rough, it is very good. If it is yellow and thin, it quickly invites harm. If it is purple, round-headed, and hazy, it is thick. Such characteristics of the mountain are the instructions for the key points of the dwelling place. The east, which is white and round, is fierce. The west of the red ones is fierce. The south, which is black and rough, is fierce. The north, which is yellow and thin, is fierce. The top of the purple ones is fierce. Reaching the top brings auspiciousness to all. Mountains, lakes, and springs, when mixed and appearing, are very fierce. Mountains gather, the heart of the lake, the head of the spring. First the mountain, then the lake in the middle. Finally, burning and tormenting, the spring is fierce. If it is like a crescent moon, the front is fierce. If it is triangular, deep, and the top is fierce. The square aligns with the key points of the earth. If it is like fish, tadpoles, frogs, snakes mating, know that the head is fierce. The tail of the lake of those facing east is fierce. The head of those facing north is fierce. The shady side of those facing west is fierce. The sunny side of those facing south is fierce. Thirdly, the location of the spring is: the royal caste is in the east, the lord caste is in the south, the Brahmins are in the west, the outcasts are in the north, and the commoner caste is scattered everywhere. The dwelling place is explained elsewhere. Also, the five types of nagas have five companion trees. The royal caste is associated with kings. The lord caste is associated with fierce types. The Brahmins are associated with the lords of the earth, Tsen. The commoner caste is associated with the assembly of Mammo. The outcastes are associated with the assembly of Theurang. The characteristics of those companion trees are that wonderful illusions will be similar to that, and the aim is shown to be the same as that. The changing pattern of the four seasons is that the east is fierce in the three winter months, and the north is fierce in the three spring months.
