The emanation of the great mother, the wisdom dakini who is not human, the daughter of Lablung Edap. Before the one lamp of Lab, who cuts off the four maras. The three realms are: the outer realm, cutting off earth, water, mountains, rocks, gods, demons, enemies, and obstacles; the inner realm, cutting off attachment to the illusory body, diseases, and evil spirits; the secret realm, cutting off the mind itself, grasping, and conceptual thoughts. The three fearless confidences are: the confidence of the view of no god and no ghost; the confidence of the conduct of unhindered pride; the confidence of the fruit of no hope and no fear. The three necessary sharpnesses are: the sharpness of self-born wisdom with sharpness is the necessary sharpness; directly cutting off whatever arises as appearance is the sharpness of practice; aiming at whatever is to be subdued like an arrow is the sharpness of skillful means. From this, the three actions to be inferred are: abandoning self-attachment like a corpse is the action of the body; knowing like an unattached waterfall is the action of speech; purifying like unwavering space is the method of abiding of the mind. The secret retreat that is always needed is to stick the tongue to the palate and say the letter PHAṬ (藏文:ཕཊ།,梵文天城体:फट,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:啪). The need is: to obtain common and supreme accomplishments. The intention is: to obtain the fruit of complete and perfect enlightenment. Throwing and abandoning are: throwing awareness without attachment and abandoning the illusory body without attachment. Which comes first, the cutter or the cut object? Because the object and consciousness abide in equality without distinction, it is said that there is no before or after. It is also known from the words of the Victorious Ones that the demons abide in equality. The three that should not be cut off are: the old ghost of Traktsun should not be cut off; the tomb ghost of the virtuous should not be cut off; the sudden enemy ghost of the great general should not be cut off. Furthermore, saying that a servant who listens to the mouth is always needed refers to sending forth the intention of seizing the lama and seeking a servant in advance. Saying that a powerful elephant must be ridden refers to the intention of suppression. Saying that a lasso of lightning must be held in the hand refers to the intention of exposure. Saying that a small flea must be taken from the mouth of a spoon has no answer. Saying that the makara sleeping in the ocean must breathe the wind of the end of the kalpa into the nostrils of the Victorious One refers to awakening the unawakened.
