It is said that in this meaning, there are two things, necessity and intention, what are they? If summarized into one, it is said to be contained in both gain and loss, what is it? Which comes first, the object of Chöd or the practitioner of Chöd? It is said that there are three types: the cut-off Chöd, the uncut-off Chöd, and the abiding, what are they? Also, it is said that Chöd needs a servant in front, what is it? It is said to ride a strong elephant, what is it? It is said that one must hold a lightning-like lasso in one's hand, what is it?
