Non-attachment is of utmost importance. I, the old monk Ra Ga A Syas, in the ocean of new and old scriptures and tantras, Having looked, found this essential Dharma. For many who are not high-ranking individuals, Entering the gate of Dharma, Even in death, they are neither surprised nor afraid, I give this assurance of peace of mind. More than a wish-fulfilling jewel. The great Bodhisattvas who have attained the bhumis, Having seen the suffering of samsara, Deliberately come for the benefit of sentient beings. You too, think not to compete with them. If you intend to be born as an incarnation, I have no reason to hinder the benefit of beings. Following the appearance of a battle between courage and cowardice, I am a coward preparing to flee. Thus, I, Ra Ga A Syas, On the twelfth day of the Black Month of the Iron Pig year, Having arisen in experience, spoke these words. Written by A Dge Snyol Bo Zer, of the wrathful monk Dana. Having generated the mind of Bodhichitta, From now until the end of life, May immeasurable benefit for beings be accomplished, I pray, grant your blessings, Three Jewels. May there be no obstacles to that, I pray, grant your blessings, Re Ma Ti. May aspirations be spontaneously accomplished, I pray, grant your blessings, Padmasambhava. To all who come to this Dharma seat, Protect from obstacles such as epidemics, floods, and evil spirits, Assembly of Dharma protectors. Liberation through seeing, liberation through remembering, liberation through touching, And liberation of the lineage through merely hearing, I pray, grant your blessings, Avalokiteshvara. Pacify obstacles, Secret Mother. Grant accomplishments, Slayer of Yama. Bind thieves and robbers, Radiant One. Inspire realization, Accomplished Ones. Without letting go of distraction and obstacles, May the victory banner of practice be raised. By the power of truth of all who possess truth, And by the power of the Dharma protectors and guardians, may it come to pass.
