Oh, revered parents of Kapo, Remember your vows and commitments, I urge you from my heart. Drive away the harm caused by wild beasts! All you demons of the dark side, Take your own bodies as examples. All sentient beings are our parents, If you commit the act of eating them alive, You will be passed down through the eighteen hells, Reflect with compassion, for there will be no time for liberation! From now on, transform into a heart of loving-kindness. Do not let wild beasts cause harm! By the truth of the Three Jewels, And by the power of truth as much as truth exists, May these domestic animals to be protected, Be free from the harm of wild beasts. This was written because a wolf had killed eight or nine horses and livestock.
