On the head of any deity, if a wooden stick with a wooden plaque written on it is inserted, there is no need for a guardian for three years. Those who planted it there said, "This is not the merit of the plaque," so do not give them hail fees. Because the plaque appeared, hail fell. It is also said that inserting a plaque can resist hail. After that, hearing a profound sound, because a horse had to be offered as a reward for learning the oral instructions, it was called "Sba ston Darma Gonpo's horse price." After that, it was passed down through the Kadampa Geshe Chakhawa, and it is said that each of these wood carvings could bring a horse, so it was called "Geshe Chaba's oral teachings, plaque horse pocket." It is also called "Berga Yanthubma," and it is said that it is enough to just insert this. Om. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Om) The history of the turtle Yanthub is: The accomplished Khyungpo Naljorpa went to India and learned the Six Dharmas of Niguma from the Dakini Niguma. He also asked many Panditas and accomplished ones for many Dharma and oral instructions. In particular, he asked Lama Maitripa for all the teachings on the Six-Armed Protector and offered five hundred taels of gold. At that time, in the practice rituals of the Protector's retinue goddess Remati, this turtle Yanthub, which is suitable for whatever deity is practiced, was bestowed. Because this is very profound, it is heard that hail that cannot be resisted by other hail protectors can be resisted by placing a mantra frog. This mantra, even if the number of recitations is not enough, the frog can resist, so it is Yanthub. For reversal, just throw the frog. It is called the Hail Protector Frog Yanthub of Lama Shangpa. Om. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Om) The Nyingma method of Tsa-tsa Yanthub is: Put a rolled-up paper in the Tsa-tsa, consecrate it at the end, and recite many mantras, and then put it in the hail pile. It is recorded in the Tantra of the Horse King's Play and the Hail Cutting of the Intentions Gathering, which is the same as the unfolding of the hail mortgage. Apart from that, there is no other saying of Tsa-tsa Yanthub, and there is no record in the scriptures. The old mantra practitioners of the past had an oral instruction passed down by ear without written records. Om. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Om) Also, the history of Laru Yanthub is: Formerly, in a place called Songrong, there was a hail disaster of heretics, and no hail protector could resist it. The Acharya brothers considered it and made this oral instruction. If the substance, mantra, and container are complete, it can resist for a long time. This thing called Yanthub and Yongtub, the covering range is as wide as the blue sky, the capacity is like

还有,有些yan thub(藏文:ཡན་ཐུབ་)外道也有。

My nature is like the earth, profound like an unabandoned ocean; as rare as a Garuda's egg; as authentic in origin as an Udumbara flower. This instruction is rarer than gold in the world, it has a seal of four gold srangs. It is a wish-fulfilling jewel, do not give it to anyone, it is enough to keep it while sleeping. Do not transmit the oral instructions made by the superior Acarya! There is a vow! It should be taken as if taking something from a secret place. The word "Samaya (藏文,梵文天城体:समय,梵文罗马拟音:samaya,汉语字面意思:Vow)" will appear. It is not true to say that "ra ru yan thub" is a custom of the heretics, because the mantra "ye dharmā (藏文:ཡེ་དྷརྨཱ,梵文天城体:ये धर्मा,梵文罗马拟音:ye dharmā,汉语字面意思:All dharmas)" needs to be consecrated. However, it is heard that spreading pills of blood and snot on all the mountains makes the nagas unhappy, so there will be little rain, therefore there is fault. In the inner tradition, this hail-protecting ra ru ma is the worst, because there is something bad, so it is best not to do it. Then, incidentally, about the history of the heretics. In general, from the tantras of the black heretic Ishvara, etc., it is said that there are various methods of blocking and causing hail. It is said that the activities of the Bon tradition's Red Garuda, etc., have profound methods of protecting against hail. When doing those, ask for empowerment and transmission from each. If you protect the vows, do recitation and practice, and then do the activities of protecting against hail, then the necessary procedures are the same as in the inner tradition. Then, the customs of the Bon tradition and the heretics are also, if you do not practice the deity there, it is not enough to do it once, like a mantra on a stove. Also, some yan thubs are also found in external traditions. The heretical teacher of India, named Kalden Gyalpo, the great translator Rinchen Zangpo taught him some instructions such as ber rga yan thub, etc., and when he returned to Tibet, he promised to send a lot of gold. Later, when he arrived in Tibet, thinking that there was no dharma or vows to respect for the heretics, he did not send the gold. The heretical translator did not have disciples to be tamed. To see why the gold was not sent, an Acarya was sent, and he saw that the translator had gathered more than sixty thousand disciples, and the Sangpu monastery had also expanded, and the news was also heard in India, and the heretic Kalden Gyalpo was angry, and he cast an evil spell, and when Rinchen Zangpo was traveling by boat from Samye, a rain of stones fell from the sky, and the boat sank, and the translator died there. The instruction is that on a wooden board, draw the shape of a vase, and inside it, write a fierce mantra, and insert it, and it is enough.
