The three whites, the three sweets, Naga medicine, herbal medicine, medicinal herbs, and camphor, etc., are pleasing because they are the mother's food. As many of these offering substances as possible are gathered, and a lingam of the enemy and decorations of flesh and blood are set out. Furthermore, the five offerings, etc., are set out as usual, and the following is recited: With the patient as the main focus, all sentient beings take refuge in the lama and the secret lord Vajrapani. I take refuge in the three jewels. In order to liberate all past sentient beings from the diseases and harms of upper spirits and to establish them in the state of Vajradhara, this patient is to be followed up. In an instant, one transforms oneself into Vajrapani, with a body color of dark blue-black, in a very wrathful demeanor, the right hand raising a vajra of meteoric iron into the sky, the left hand holding a threatening mudra pointing towards the heart, the eight emanations adorning the body, and all the wrathful attire such as a tiger skin loincloth all adorning, in the midst of a blazing fire, with the right leg bent and the left leg extended, seated on a lotus-sun cushion, on a sun cushion at the heart a mantra garland rotating to the right, with rays of light like rain descending all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, all transforming into the form of the secret lord and dissolving into oneself, thereby becoming fully endowed with power, strength, and ability.
