Listen, you hosts of obstructing demons and misleading spirits! I am the great and supreme Heruka. You are the groups of oath-bound ones, both internal and external. Who does not listen to the words of truth? Who does not rely on the words of the Three Jewels? Who does not drink the water of the ocean? Who does not abide by the wisdom of Mount Meru? From the peak of the highest existence downwards, and from the lowest hell of Naraka upwards, to all the male and female gods and demons of existence, I have sent a ransom as a substitute. Will you not take this ransom? Or is this command not strict? I possess the power to destroy all together. Therefore, come here now with a loving heart to this place of offering and sacrifice! Then, with the iron hook mudra, Homage! The words of the venerable root and lineage glorious and holy lamas are true, the words of the Buddhas are true, the words of the Dharma are true, the words of the Sangha are true, the words of the deities of the mandala of the victorious ones are true, the words of the dakinis, dharma protectors, and guardians are true, the secret mantras, knowledge mantras, dharani mantras, heart mantras, mudras, and samadhi are true, by the power and blessings of these great truths, may all the malevolent spirits, female rakshasas, naga spirits, earth lords, old ghosts, new ghosts, wandering local spirits that harm and injure the body, speech, and mind of the donor named "Rge," those who steal the breath from the mouth and take life within the stomach, and all other obstructing demons, be instantaneously and involuntarily drawn into this ransom substitute torma!
