I confess that the annual offerings are insufficient. I confess that I am starving like a father. I confess that the demon ate its own flesh. I confess that the mist covered the abode of the gods. I confess that impurity defiled the offerings to the gods. I confess that the descendants ate the offerings. I confess that the temple of the earth deity is dilapidated. I confess that the offerings to the nagas and fierce spirits are insufficient. I confess that I have taken refuge in the land of widows. I confess that the Le'u Lhari mountain has collapsed. I confess that the offerings are not complete according to the scriptures. I confess that I have slandered the teacher. I confess that I have had wrong views towards my fellow monks. I confess that I have been angry with the patron. I confess that I am ashamed of the offerings to the lama. I confess that the offerings have been contaminated by the shadow of a toad. Thus, may the earth deities, nagas, and fierce spirits, with their body, speech, and mind greatly pleased, not send diseases to people, nor send disasters to livestock, nor send hail and frost to the fields, nor send losses to livestock, nor send bad omens and strange occurrences, nor send evil curses, may all the earth deities of heaven, earth, and space, I and the sponsoring patrons, live in harmony, I offer my prayers, may people prosper and increase like men, may wealth increase like female animals, may all wishes be fulfilled, grant me the accomplishment of deeds, may there be auspiciousness and well-being!
