Arrange all the statues in each direction in a manner that reverses the order of the eight classes of beings. Below that, on the fifth tier, place the four great powerful spirits, accompanied by four attendant figures with white faces. Offer white torma to the local deities, offer 'lha bshos' (divine food) to the place deities, offer white torma with a bag of illusions to the nagas, and offer a turtle shaped like Mount Meru and white torma to the earth lords. Below that, on the sixth tier, offer torma, pieces of meat, fingernails, and whatever else is available to all the retinue. Below that, on the seventh tier, arrange the 'yas' (arrows, offerings). If the 'yas' are for the annual ritual, then whether it is a village or one's own field, measure out a handful from the number of fields, then measure out a 'bre' (unit of measure) below, and prepare soil, sod, reeds, ears of grain, crystals, honey, and so on. For human rituals, make statues of healthy people, such as lamas, substitutes, men, and women, all beautiful and pleasing to the eye, and place them in front. If it is a sick person, make a statue of whoever it is, as described above, beautiful and pleasing to the eye. In front of it, place clean strings and pieces of cloth corresponding to the age. In the treasures of Nyang, it is said that if the patient's saliva is not mixed in, all the disease lords and substitutes will not be satisfied. The treasures of Ra shag gter ston also say something similar, so in another container, knead a powerful substitute with the patient's saliva, the best being the same height as the person, the medium being one cubit, and the lowest being one span. As before, add strings, pieces of cloth, salt, barley, and three types of sugar, as well as mustard oil, cleansing water, and so on. Regularly dedicate true words of prayer, and have the patient regularly bathe on it, and offer the substitute according to the ritual, or perform sky dharma, exorcism, and other rituals according to the texts. If it is to avert loss of livestock, make statues of horses, cattle, yaks, mules, donkeys, etc., whichever they are, that are beautiful and fierce, and place the hair, saliva, corpses, meat, bones, etc. of whoever it is. Finally, build an iron fence around it, and on top of it, place twenty-eight fierce red weapons, twenty sky-colored flags, twenty arrows, twenty beautiful horns, twenty flags, and twenty male and female banners. In the center, erect a sky umbrella or a silk umbrella, and in the four directions, erect four victory banners, four arrow flags of different colors, and mirrors made of shell, gold, coral, and pearl. This is what Guru Chos dbang's treasure says, and since it is difficult to gather everything, four mirrors seem sufficient. The above was arranged by Ra Ga A sya himself, and the following is a treasure. Thus, put into the 'mdos' (thread-cross offering) pieces of meat, fingernails, all kinds of grains, crystals, various medicines, samaya substances, and whatever else is available. In front of the 'mdos', offer medicine torma, rakta (blood offering), flowers, and incense.
