I offer this abundant Torma with a hundred flavors to the army of the Maras of affliction. May each and every one of you be satisfied and enjoy inexhaustible prosperity according to your individual desires. I pray that all are pleased and content, and that you avert the harm caused by the four Maras. May everything arise like the treasury of the sky. Then, in front of the Lord of Death Mara, place the red Torma, along with a mule, a dog, karmic debts, dice, pieces of meat, and leftover food, as before. Then, bathe the sick or those who have suffered great misfortune on top of the effigy. Bless it by reciting the three syllables, Sambhara, and the names of the four Sugatas. Hum (藏文：ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：吽）! This beautiful male effigy is the ransom for the patron named so-and-so. It is made of five precious materials and adorned with silk and brocade garments. The ornaments flutter gracefully. Food and drink are placed in its mouth, and golden chang is offered in its hand. I offer it to the four Maras. Meeting the Mara, it averts disaster; meeting the Naga, it averts harm from the Nagas. Skilled in speech, it is eloquent; walking, it sways gracefully. With a headdress tied on its head, it is radiant. Its body is beautiful and adorned with clothes. Its name and form are beautiful, and it is powerful. There is no place to restrain it. For the sake of deceiving the patron, today I send out this effigy. Great Lord of the Ransom, please accept the ransom. The eight consciousnesses and the five elements are the ransom of dependent origination. The ransom of the aggregates, elements, and sense bases. The ransom of the six sense faculties. This great male effigy made of excellent grains, wearing clothes made of five precious materials, holds in its right hand a banner and spear to repel the war of samsara, and in its left hand, the nine liberations. Its right foot is the great method of iron, and its left foot is the wisdom of copper. Such a supreme male effigy is offered to the four Maras.

To all the armies of demons, I offer this patron's substitute. With a human as a substitute, it is wonderfully excellent. To all the armies of the four demons, take this beautiful substitute, and now return to your respective places. Do not break the command of the Three Jewels! In the past, during the time of the god Indra, the Bhagavan Shakyamuni, after subduing the four demons, gave a substitute, just as you commanded and made vows, remember that vow, do not cause harm to this retinue! Demons, go to your respective places, settle the demon debt with the substitute, may the thought of harm be pacified! May all be like the treasury of space, with inexhaustible enjoyment, without strife and without harm, may you enjoy freely! With the power of my mind, and the power of the Tathagata's generosity, and the power of the realm of Dharma, whatever things are thought of in the mind, may all of those, each in its own way, arise without hindrance! I offer the person into the midst of the four demons. Then, the act of sending off provisions: Hūṃ! I am the Bhagavan Shakyamuni, I am the great glorious Heruka, I am the great glorious Lord of Secrets, I am the Vidyadhara Siddha, I am the enemy of demons and obstacles, great demons and gods and nāgas, spirits, pretas, flesh-eaters, disease lords, matrikas, etc., without transgressing my command, accept this substitute torma, pacify the diseases, evil influences, and obstacles of myself and the patrons who provide support. Release what is held, untie what is bound, loosen what is restrained, lift up what is pressed down. If you do not accomplish the entrusted task, by the transgression of the Sugatas of the past, sentient beings will be born again and again in the hells, experiencing various kinds of intense suffering. Therefore, do not create obstacles or harm! Four demons, return to your respective places, the true and infallible command of the Victorious Ones, practice accordingly and attain happiness! May I and all the patrons who provide support be liberated from the four great demons, and may obstacles, diseases, and evil influences be quickly pacified, and may all the desired goals be accomplished! Then, the sending off provisions: Kye!
