From the Mind Treasure, the Clear Expanse of the Heart, [comes] the method for rectifying the waxing and waning of the Eight Classes: one large torma and one hundred small tormas. For this, there are three methods: extensive, concise, and medium. And a fourth that is extremely concise. It is called the General Torma of Existence. There are forty-four types of tormas.

Make an effigy of (the earth deity); if desired, make four or eight red human figures; surround it with clay and insert eight red arrow-banners; place a red offering cake in front of it; place it on a red base; fill it with various grains, jewels, wool, dyes, and silks. ༈ Subduing the rebellion of a king: Make an effigy of a Rāja king; if desired, make four or eight white human figures wearing red felt hats; surround it with clay and insert eight wooden rattles; place a good royal offering cake in front of it; place it on a white base; fill it with various grains, jewels, various silks, and soil from either a salt mine or a monastery. ༈ Subduing the rebellion of a yaksha: Make an effigy of a yaksha king; if desired, make four or eight green or blue human figures; surround it with clay and insert eight green or blue banners; place a good yaksha offering cake in front of it; place it on a blue or black base; fill it with various grains, jewels, various silks, and various colored soils. ༈ Subduing the rebellion of a nāga: Make an effigy of a nāga king; if desired, make four or eight bluish-black human figures with crests and snake tails; surround it with clay and insert eight makara banners according to the diagram; place a good nāga offering cake in front of it; place it on a black base; fill it with various grains, various silks, jewels, and nāga medicines. ༈ The method for subduing the rebellion of a local deity: Make an effigy of a local deity king; if desired, make four or eight black local deity figures; surround it with clay and insert eight black clubs; place a good local deity offering cake in front of it; place it on a black base; fill it with various grains, jewels, goat hair, and silks. ༈ Subduing the rebellion of a planet: Make an effigy of a planetary king; if desired, make four or eight green planetary figures; surround it with clay and insert eight swords; place a terrifying planetary offering cake in front of it; place it on a blue, green, or black base; fill it with various grains, jewels, various silks, meat, and blood. ༈ Now, the method for subduing the rebellion of all gods and demons in general: On any large base, such as a door threshold, etc.; draw with barley according to the diagram; in the center of it, make effigies of both the planet and the local deity; around it, insert eight swords and eight clubs into the clay; place their respective offering cakes in front and behind.

之后放置八部众的八尊像，各自的面前放置各自的法器，之后各自的面前放置各自的食子，各自的供品和谷物等如前一样放入。念诵与之前相同，对一切都分别供养形象和供品。首先念诵曜和泰乌。如果也做简略的，就做宝剑等各自的木制图样，在各自的面前竖立，各自的供品芥子油等也是， 上等一百零八个，中等是施主人的年龄数，下等也要二十一个，十三、七以上要做。咒语的数量也与此相同。八部众哪个的损害大就多做，其他的少也可以。再者，八部众的形象用泥土制作是咒师们要做的事情。八部众主要十尊像画在擦擦上竖立，眷属不需要制作。身像从食子的后面向这边竖立，擦擦的后面写ཀྵ་（藏文，梵文天城体kṣa，梵文罗马拟音ksha，汉语字面意思： ક્ષ），曜，ཏྲི་（藏文，梵文天城体tri，梵文罗马拟音tri，汉语字面意思： ত্রি），泰乌，རང་（藏文，梵文天城体raṃ，梵文罗马拟音ram，汉语字面意思： রং）的命字。写ཨ་ཡ་མ་དུ་རུ་ཙ་ཤ་ན་（藏文，梵文天城体a ya ma du ru ca śa na，梵文罗马拟音a ya ma du ru ca śa na，汉语字面意思： অ য় ম দু রু চ শ ন）各自的命字各一个。在擦擦上画宝剑八把和天空等各自的朵玛供品，从前面向那边竖立。总朵玛供箭和幡十个等，在方位角中央竖立完成就好。小朵玛供箭和幡各一个就可以。食子朵玛是喇嘛和格西比丘要做的事情。念诵部分，如果做总朵玛就念诵仪轨，如果做小朵玛，就从其中清楚地了解。誓言是我以自生降伏前生，意思是：除了自生之外，前面八部众曜泰乌之外，不观想其他主要本尊。那时不与损害的鬼神交往，这是爱慕和，不做颠倒的朵玛，意思是除了正直的语言之外，不说其他的朵玛，不做不好的朵玛，意思是：必须非常干净，朵玛 不做颠倒，意思是除了图样之外，不做其他的朵玛，不用铁钩迎请，意思是：用光芒铁钩迎请等是不行的。不说不好的请求，意思是：词语不清楚不理解就不念诵，不放在垃圾堆的方向，意思是：不拿不好的东西，不与迎请的红光交往，意思是迎请时不与大威力和污秽交往。

Then place the eight images of the Eight Classes of Gods and Demons, each with their respective hand implements in front of them. After that, place their respective torma offerings in front of each, and fill them with their respective offering substances and grains as before. If you also do a condensed version, make wooden drawings of swords, etc., for each, and erect them in front of each.
