In that place, visualize a large water ladle filled with lush green water. If the object of visualization is clear and stable, it is said that it will not take more than three days. In the evening, visualize yourself as Lion-faced Dakini, with all the evil spirits obstructing the wind gods and rain contained under your feet. Visualize stamping them down with your feet, as if a needle were dropped on the ground, sinking nine levels into the earth. Recite the mantra of the Lion-faced Dakini and clap your hands. After the rain falls, offer a white torma of gratitude. Visualize yourself as Avalokiteśvara Khasarpani, with nectar-like milk descending like a great river from your right hand, which pervades the sky. All the nagas and local deities bathe in and drink this water, pacifying all their illnesses and suffering, becoming happy and peaceful, radiant, and joyfully reciting the six-syllable mantra, returning to their own abodes. For the benefit of realized beings, the flourishing of the Dharma, and the ten powers, etc., this profound and meaningful, extremely secret ritual, as if cursed from the mouth of Rahu Asuya, was written by the foolish bhikshu Shri, may it bring immeasurable benefit to beings! ༈ A condensed meaning of the Great Cloud Sutra, a prayer for rain, the power of truth, is hereby recorded. Namo! I take refuge in the Three Jewels! May all sentient beings of the six realms, especially the nagas and local deities, have all their suffering cease, be endowed with all happiness, and in order for rain to fall in due season, for crops to be abundant, and for the world to be peaceful, I will cause great rain to fall. From the lineage of clouds, the glory of blessings manifested, the light that emanates as essence, the stream of water of wisdom's splendor, the mandala of clouds endowed with glory, the golden rays of light manifest, a part of the tip of a hair, from which the lineage and caste arise, I prostrate to the Tathagatas. Bhagavan, Supreme Tathagata, possessing the essence of perfect wisdom, I prostrate to the Great Cloud. I prostrate to the one adorned with clouds, arising from the Sugata naga lineage. I prostrate, offer, and take refuge in the source of the Buddha's clouds, and the glory of the splendid clouds. I prostrate, offer, and take refuge in the great arising of the Buddha's clouds, and the destroyer of the mandala of wind. I prostrate, offer, and take refuge in the immeasurable sky of the Buddha, and the powerful hero of the Buddha's strength.
