The great accomplished Nadarba said, believe because this mantra is truly existent. Furthermore, from numerous sutras, tantras, and instructions, summarizing the benefits of prostrations in concise words: By prostrating to the root gurus, the realization of Mahamudra will arise. By respectfully prostrating to the Three Jewels, one will be saved from the suffering of the three lower realms. By prostrating to Kunrig Nampar Nangdze, one will be liberated from the state of deceased lower realms. By prostrating to Buddha Akshobhya, all fears will be pacified, and karmic obscurations will be purified. By prostrating to Buddha Amitayus, one will have a long life in this life, and in the next, one will be reborn in a pure land. By remembering and prostrating to Manjushri, wisdom will increase, and in the next life, one will be born as a wise person. By prostrating to Bhagavan Shakyamuni, one will eventually attain enlightenment when samsara ends. By prostrating to the Medicine Buddha, one will have few illnesses in this life, and in the next, one will abandon the lower realms. By prostrating to the Buddha Dharmakirti Sagaraghosa, enemies and disputes will be pacified. By prostrating to the noble Avalokiteshvara, all fears will be pacified, and the suffering of the six realms will be saved. By prostrating to Vajrapani, all obstacles and harmful influences will be pacified, and merit will increase. By single-mindedly prostrating to Bodhisattva Kshitigarbha, everything will be auspicious. By prostrating to Orgyen Padmasambhava, all harm from gods and demons will be pacified, and liberation will be attained. Whatever you do, prostrate with devotion and respect, without doubt. In the end, pray for whatever you desire. Except for the ripening of strong karma, the Victorious Ones have said that whatever you think will be accomplished. This concise summary of the explanation and benefits of prostration is not self-made, but the essence of sutras, tantras, and oral instructions. It was composed by an old monk named Raga on the fifth day of the Water Month. If there are any contradictions or errors in this, I confess before those with the eye of wisdom.
