In order to enter "ra". The mountain dharma talk, seeing and hearing, makes one smile. (ག) In order to generate a firm mind of renunciation. Abandon the path of samsara, opening up many forks in the road. (ང) In order to clarify the practice of individual beings of different capacities, both great and small vehicle. There is the Gandi of the Noble Ones. (ཅ) In order to request and protect the three vows in sequence. There is the method of protecting the three vows, like the disc of the sun. (ཚ) In order to protect from all fears of samsara. There is the oral instruction of refuge, protecting from all fears. (ཇ) In order to make whatever one does go on the path to enlightenment. There is the instruction on generating the mind of enlightenment, the great path to enlightenment. (ཉ) In order for oneself and others, the Three Jewels, to be protected by compassion. There is the vow to protect, the cool shade of compassion. (ཏ) In order to benefit the weak, the sick, and so on. There is the meditation during sessions, eliminating all obstacles. (ཐ) In order to purify the karmic defilements of past lives. There is the oral instruction on purification, the stream of nectar. (ད) In order to effortlessly complete the accumulation of merit. There is the mandala instruction, the mountain of merit. (ན) In order for blessings to enter and realization to increase. There is the Guru Yoga, the rain of blessings. (པ) In order to first know how realization arises. There is the long trace of experience, like a traveler's road song. (ཕ) In order to protect from obstacles with the truth of the Buddha. There is the armor of loving-kindness, the chainmail of compassion. (བ) In order to know where is a good place for retreat. There is a brief explanation of geomancy, a collection of all precious things. (མ) In order to make practice easy for the small-minded and ignorant. There is the oral instruction on retreat, the white path of liberation. (ཙ) In order to transform the accumulation of merit, illness, and demonic obstacles into the path. There is the giving of the body, the axe to cut through self-grasping. (ཚ) In order to prolong the life of the venerable lama, dharma friends, and patrons. There is the increase of life and glory, the welcoming of life and fortune. (ཛ) For those who are young and desire asceticism. There is the practice of conduct, the melodious sound of Brahma. (ཝ) For those who are skilled in rituals and mudras. There is the practice of yoga tantra, closing the doors to the lower realms. (ཞ) In order to purify the obscurations of the deceased. There is the Southern Gate visualization sequence, the guide to the path of liberation. (ཝ) In order to recognize one's own face in the bardo and be liberated. There is the introduction to the bardo, a summary of liberation through hearing. (འ) In order for the mountain retreat to be free from thieves and harm. There is the cool shade of the sorrowless tree.
