From there, the practice of the union of father and mother was performed and offered to the Dharma King Trisong Detsen. It was offered to the prince Sadnaleg, and the son of Sadnaleg was offered to Taknamkhai Lhazung. The lineage of accomplished masters continued unbroken, and among their sons, Karma Pakshi was born and asked his father, who was called Black Mahakala. The recitation of these lineages is also included here. Furthermore, Dombi Heruka was prophesied by both Mahakala father and mother, and summarized the meaning of the eighteen tantras. He composed a short Indian text called "Mahakala Wish-Fulfilling Rain," which is a method for the union of father and mother. It was transmitted from Tilopa and Naropa to Marpa, and is called the Whispered Lineage Mahakala. It is a single lineage up to Karma Pakshi. This practice emphasizes supreme accomplishment, so this is the method of practice. At that time, at the border between China and Tibet, the great accomplished Karma witnessed the ocean of oath-bound protectors, led by the glorious Mahakala father and mother, filling the entire Jambudvipa. Accordingly, he composed this method of practice. Later, he lifted the seal and gave it to all followers. Among them, the profound and special stages are that the great accomplished Karma Pakshi was challenged by the Chinese emperor with miraculous powers, who offered fire, water, poison, weapons, etc., but could not harm him in any way. Thinking that he was using medicine and evil spells, he stole all the scriptures and ritual implements, leaving him alone. At that time, he saw all the great accomplished masters of China and Tibet writing down the key points of the channels and winds in the form of acharyas, and he remembered them in his heart. Without relying on any external objects or implements, the key points of accomplishing all activities solely through the channels, winds, and points of focus all arose in his mind, and he composed endless oceans of instructions and endless oceans of profound Dharma. This key practice is easy to perform and has great blessings, and is a special instruction of Karma Pakshi. Later, because some people only know how to recite loudly, are skilled at drumming, and have good voices, they are called experts in Mahakala. Apart from that, many people only put the scriptures on their heads and think that they have obtained everything. Few people truly seek empowerment and transmission, let alone the key points of practice. Whether it is the deity or the mantra, they cannot truly recognize it. They only accumulate the number of rituals, and few people can complete even a small million-fold recitation of the deity. They only strive to perform fulfillment rituals, and there is not even anyone who can perform a seven-day practice, and then they say that no signs have appeared.

Although it seems like complaining, I requested empowerments, transmissions, and oral instructions from about four lamas. I saw the tradition of about four volumes of instructions from this tantra, and I also understood their meaning. I practiced to the best of my ability, so I saw the face of Mahakala many times in dreams and experiences. Situ Chokyi Gyatso and other Kagyu lamas also had visions of receiving chapters, transmissions, and oral instructions about this dharma in dreams. I transmitted this instruction to a few others, and after they practiced for a week or two, wonderful signs appeared, and they developed conviction. Therefore, do not underestimate this notebook of mine, but practice with conviction. If blessings do not come, it is because Paka fabricated it. The above is the concluding chapter. The actual instruction is the generation stage's recitation and the completion stage's channels, winds, and bindus. First, written by the precious Karmapa, place it on the torma, and for seven days, perform offerings, praises, and activities according to the ritual. Then Mahakala will accompany you like a body and its shadow, and will protect the precious teachings until the end of future lives. As it is said, the guru's oral instruction alone is important. In a secluded place, such as a cave, according to the ritual, or even in a tent. If drawing a mandala, then perform ground purification. For the intermediate, lay down a mandala thangka. For the lowest, on a clean ground, arrange piles of grain, the same number as the deities or arrange nine piles. On top of that, place a tripod or wooden tripod, and on top of that, place a copper or iron or Bhanda container, and inside it, place a triangular torma, like placing three corners on the heart, one corner not sharp, surrounded by ten small ones. Smear black butter on it. Decorate the main deity with Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) or Vajra, or with a curved knife, skull, blood, khatvanga, flames, etc., with butter decorations and meat decorations. For the retinue, place a flame and meat decoration on each. Behind it, to the east, place the food offering, to the north, place the secret outer offering, smeared with butter. To the west, place a four-cornered, peak-victorious black torma. To the south, place a triangular blood torma or reddish-brown torma, these four are the auxiliary retinue. These are offerings for the gods, life-lords, mothers, tsen spirits, Ishvara, and virtuous friends. If there are tsaklis of the main deity and retinue and a black silk umbrella, then place them. If displaying the Mahakala thangka from the back, then tsaklis are not necessary. Finally, surround it with thumb-sized pieces of meat. Sprinkle nectar on it, and visualize it as the deity.
