A Written Record of the Outer Practice of Vajrayogini. A Written Record of the Outer Practice of Vajrayogini. Namo Vajravārāhiye (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: नमो वज्रवाराहिये, Sanskrit Romanization: Namo Vajravārāhiye, Literal Chinese Meaning: Homage to Vajravarahi). When practicing the outer practice of सहजिक Vajrayogini, after establishing the foundation, it is best to offer the preliminary torma once during the first retreat, but it is okay not to offer it regularly afterwards. If you offer it every time, there will be no obstacles, so it is good. Although the self-generation deity is according to the ritual, I will explain the slightly difficult parts. There is no need for a karma vase, because the karma vase of the inner offering is sufficient. The preliminary torma is for the inner offering to be blessed. The अनत्तरयोग tantra believes that all sentient beings in the three realms are originally pure as the nature of heroes and yoginis. The so-called offering to the thirty-two dakinis, etc., is as stated in the long mantra. Sarva (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: सर्व, Sanskrit Romanization: Sarva, Literal Chinese Meaning: All) means general. Yaklu harms everything. Rakshasa is a demon. Bhuta is a ghost. Deta is a hungry ghost. Pishacha is a flesh-eating ghost. Udmada is a mad ghost. Smara is a forgetful ghost. Kluka is a dakini. Daki is a dakini, all of them are offered, because the earth lord is a ghost. Tsen, demons, gyal, gong, etc. are hungry ghosts. Female ghosts, etc. are flesh-eating ghosts, dakinis, etc. Therefore, the preliminary practice has both black and white obstacles. Everything below, such as the vajra ground, etc., is a summary of the visualization of the ritual. If you practice extensively, there will be no obstacles, this is a profound key point. The vajra fence is blue. Outside of it is a white wheel tent. Behind it is a yellow jewel tent. Behind it is a red lotus tent. Behind it is a tent with various vajra-handled swords, with the tips of the swords pointing outwards. Behind it is a yellow earth tent. Behind it is a white water tent. Behind it is a green wind tent. Behind it is a fire tent of various colors, covering the top, bottom, and all directions. It is solid and stable, wide and vast, without gaps, like an egg, visualize that the object to be protected, the benefactor, the mandala, etc. are contained within it. It is a nine-layered protection wheel. After that, offer the torma as before, but even if you subdue them, they will not listen. In order to destroy the fierce obstacles that are not stable even when practicing the protection wheel, from one's own heart, emit the six gate mother goddesses of various sizes.

Scattering like a hailstorm of yellow earth, it utterly destroys all obstacles in the four directions, above and below. The left hand stakes down with a phurba, while the right hand strikes with a vajra hammer, causing body, speech, and mind to dissolve into the nature of reality. The remaining obstacles are driven to the far shore of the ocean, and the gatekeepers are visualized merging into the protective wheel-tents of their respective directions, becoming firm and stable. Hūṃ. Thus, recite from "How wondrous is this goddess" up to "Hūṃ Phaṭ Svāhā." During the tsok offering, the attendant should emanate an ordinary body from their own heart, visualize making the request, and recite "Vajradhara, please heed" and so on. The blessing of the offering is clear as described in the text. Then, in an instant, visualize in the sky in front of you the root guru appearing as Vajradhara, surrounded by the Kagyu lineage gurus; in front, Vajravarahi with the deities of the four classes of tantra; to the right, Shakyamuni Buddha with the thousand Buddhas of the Fortunate Aeon; behind, the Dharma Jewel of scriptures; to the left, the eight close disciples surrounded by the Sangha Jewel, and on this basis, with the intention of taking refuge and generating bodhicitta, recite the verses from "I and the sky" up to "May all attain Buddhahood," absorbing the refuge field into oneself as in the ritual. Regarding the manifestation of the tsok support, such as the sky in front, if there is a vast mandala in front, then it should be clearly visualized on this mandala; if there is no mandala, then visualize it in the sky. Furthermore, in the sky above the Varahi mandala, visualize the root guru Vajradhara, surrounded by the gurus of the Union Lineage, and perform the invocation, offering, and praise as in the ritual. Then, successively pray to the lineage gurus, yidams, protectors, Mahakala, and so on, up to the Dharma protectors residing in the outer courtyard of the mandala. From the hearts of each of these deities, lights appear, the essence of which is the five wisdoms, and the form of which is the five wisdom colors. White light dissolves into one's own forehead, purifying the obscuration of ignorance, and receiving the empowerment and blessing of the body; red light dissolves into the throat, purifying the obscuration of attachment, and receiving the empowerment and blessing of speech; blue light dissolves into the heart, purifying the obscuration of hatred, and receiving the empowerment and blessing of mind; yellow light dissolves into the navel, purifying the obscuration of pride, and receiving the empowerment and blessing of qualities; green light dissolves into the secret place.
