Among these, what is most important at the beginning is this very path of the ripening empowerment. As it is said in the Secret Treasury: \"If empowerment is properly given, one will receive empowerment in birth after birth. In the seventh birth of that one, even without meditation, Buddhahood will arise.\" As it is said, having received empowerment, if one is not defiled by root downfalls, etc., then without relying on the practice of the path, one will manifest supreme accomplishment in seven or sixteen births, etc. Even if it does not turn out that way," } ] ============================================================

There is no path to meditate on that is separate from the meaning of empowerment. Moreover, during the vase empowerment, in order to counteract the conceptual thought of grasping the outer and inner as ordinary, one meditates on the mandala with its support and supported. To counteract the conceptual thought of attachment to rare deities, the practice of higher empowerments such as the secret empowerment is itself the meditation on the meaning that is free from conceptualization. For that reason, all the phenomena of the ground, path, and fruition of the Vajrayana can be expressed by the term empowerment. The first is that the cause empowerment, which ripens the unripe, and so on, appears in the scriptures of the Vinaya. The second is that all stages of practice, such as the six branches of union, are referred to as empowerment. As it is said in the Tantra of the First Buddha: "Wisdom and pristine awareness, the mind and its appearances, all become ten. The empowerment is stainless like a rabbit, like an image in a mirror. Whoever enters this, the bliss of nirvana, the unchanging co-emergent, the unchanging is the fourth. Whose mind and face abide in the face of the Buddha, that is the glorious lama." It is said. The third is that the fruit, the unsurpassed enlightenment, is referred to as empowerment, as it is said in the great commentary on the Kalachakra: "Here, the supreme great seal of the vase empowerment, the secret empowerment, and the empowerment of wisdom and pristine awareness, the supreme unchanging great bliss of the Prajnaparamita, the last of the moments, the nature of manifest complete enlightenment is not cut off. That Bhagavan who obtained it under the Bodhi tree, he is the one who obtained the supreme empowerment." Therefore, all the cause, path, and fruit of the Vajrayana are included in the sequence of empowerment. Secondly, there are two aspects to the benefits and drawbacks of receiving or not receiving empowerment: the benefits of receiving empowerment and the drawbacks of not receiving empowerment. The first is that one is qualified to be a vessel for meditating on the two stages, to complete the three accumulations, and to listen to the tantras and commentaries, etc., which are not allowed without receiving empowerment. And since their permissibility depends on having received empowerment, one possesses inconceivable benefits. Therefore, it is said in the Explanatory Tantra Vajramala: "Empowerment is the main thing, all accomplishments always abide, my...
