It is said that the Dharmakaya Amitabha has given it to someone, and the Nirmanakaya has also given it to me, so the lineage is close. The effect of the blessing, the steaming breath of the Dakinis, therefore, generate devotion. You should generate such faith: our Guru and the empowerment objects in front are the embodiment of the Great Compassionate One himself. Then there is that empowerment, first this supplication. Disciple, you repeat after me. All Buddhas of the three times, and especially the Great Compassionate One, I beseech you to grant empowerment. After requesting three times, then, repeat after this. I take refuge in the Three Jewels, I confess all sins and non-virtues, I rejoice in the merits of sentient beings, I hold the Buddha's Bodhi in mind, I take refuge in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, until enlightenment. In order to accomplish the benefit of self and others, I generate the supreme Bodhicitta. After generating the supreme Bodhicitta, I will treat all sentient beings as guests. May I practice the supreme Bodhisattva conduct, may I attain Buddhahood for the benefit of sentient beings. Recite three times, or if abbreviated, recite the last three sentences. Make the disciple look like a servant with kusha grass, now in order to generate the disciple as a deity, meditate like this. You yourselves are the Great Compassionate One, body color white, one face, four arms, the mudras are like this, the first two hands are joined in prayer, the lower two hands hold a rosary and a lotus, the two feet are in vajra posture, adorned with various jewels, wearing silk and fine linen clothes, sitting on a lotus moon cushion. Oh, after generating the deity like that, the blessing of the three places is, on your foreheads is white (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om), on your throats is red (Tibetan: ཨཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: ā, Chinese literal meaning: Ah), on your hearts is blue (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum), meditate that on the moon in the center of your heart, there is a white (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Hrih) syllable, surrounded by the six-syllable mantra. May all retinues and their attendants come here! The hair is a loose topknot, shimmering; precious ornaments are radiant; singing and dancing, playing music; blessings are inconceivable; granting accomplishments is countless; bestowing great blessings, wondrously, holding with compassion, immeasurable! With one-pointed prayer, I pray, please bless this person! Please grant this person all accomplishments! Please bestow great blessings upon this person! Please hold this person with compassion! Please bless, Avalokiteśvara! Please grant accomplishments, Avalokiteśvara! Please bestow great blessings, Avalokiteśvara! Please hold with compassion, Avalokiteśvara! Father Lama, you are the Great Compassionate One, I pray with one-pointedness, please fulfill your vows! Oṃ āḥ hūṃ hūṃ svāhā! Dharmakāya Amitābha, Sambhogakāya Great Compassionate One, Nirmāṇakāya Padmasambhava, Ḍākinī Yeshe Tsogyal, the twenty-five disciples, the hundred and eight treasure revealers, and all the vidyādharas and siddhas, and the deities of the Great Compassionate Noble Avalokiteśvara, please bless and empower these vajra disciples! May the habitual tendencies of the two obscurations of karma and afflictions
