In the arrangement of the Do De Zama Tok, the Bhagavan Shakyamuni Buddha declared: "Those who remember the name of the noble Avalokiteśvara will be endowed with happiness. They will be completely liberated from the suffering of birth, aging, sickness, and death. They will be born in the pure land of Sukhavati and will listen to the Dharma from Amitabha. They will not experience the suffering of samsara in their bodies. They will not experience the suffering of afflictions, hunger, thirst, and poverty in their minds. They will not experience the suffering of dwelling in the womb. They will be miraculously born from a lotus, nourished by the taste of Dharma. Those who rely on the noble Avalokiteśvara as their yidam will always be held and abide in that Buddha-field." Thus it was said. In particular, the benefits of this six-syllable mantra are: In the Sutra of One Hundred and Eight Names, the Bhagavan declared: "Any son or daughter of good family who remembers the noble Avalokiteśvara and recites "Om Mani Padme Hum (藏文：ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：ओँ मणि पद्मे हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ maṇipadme hūṃ，汉语字面意思：嗡 嘛呢 贝美 吽)" will not be born in the lower realms and will not go to Avici hell. Whoever rises in the morning and recites or chants, reciting the mantra, their body will be freed from leprosy, scabies, itching, boils, vitiligo, lung disease, difficulty in breathing, and all diseases. All past lives will be remembered. At the time of death, they will be born in Sukhavati. Wherever they are born, they will not be separated from the noble Avalokiteśvara." Thus it was said. And, in the Sutra of the Arrangement of the Zama Tok, the supreme Red Buddha declared: "Any son or daughter of good family who recites this six-syllable mantra will have inexhaustible courage. The accumulation of wisdom will become completely pure. They will be endowed with great love and great compassion. Each day, they will perfect the six paramitas. They will obtain the state of a vidyadhara chakravartin. The bodhisattva will become irreversible. They will manifestly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment." Thus it was said. Such an empowerment was given by the incarnation Mingyur Dorje at the age of twelve, in the fire-monkey year, in the month of the dragon.
