The gods, from above, universally, infuse the nectar of wisdom light. This world, however many demons there are, all vidyā mantras and curses, will not be able to harm him. By practicing according to the ritual, even residing for the lifespan of Brahma, after death, without falling into hell, by means of transference, enters the heavens. Having gone to the Buddha-field, listening to the Dharma from the Buddhas, and simultaneously obtaining the power and fearlessness of the Buddha-sons, possessing the marks and signs, like a flash of lightning, purifying all beings, purifying all Buddha-fields. This is what all the wisdom wrathful deities requested of Avalokiteśvara." Then Avalokiteśvara said, "Protector Avalokiteśvara, merely by reciting the mantra, there will be no fifteen bad deaths, and fifteen good rebirths will be obtained. Famine, the king's punishment, poison, weapons and war, tigers and snakes and other poisonous things, poisonous food and death by fire and water, seven kinds of animals and adultery, deception and harm from gods and demons, incurable diseases and suicide, will never be feared by him. Engage in desire. The mind is at ease, protected by the guardians of the world. Seeing the face of the Buddha is a sign of auspiciousness. Furthermore, for the lowly, generate Bodhicitta. In the abode of nāgas, bhūtas, and asuras. If Avalokiteśvara is remembered. Will never sink in the water. For the sake of being killed by a mind of intense hatred. Even if thrown from the peak of Mount Sumeru. If Avalokiteśvara is remembered. Will remain in the sky like the sun. If even the kinds of vajras. Come to the crown of the head for the sake of being killed. If Avalokiteśvara is remembered. Not even a pore of hair can be cherished. If surrounded by many. Holding weapons in hand with a mind to kill. If Avalokiteśvara is remembered. Immediately it will turn into a mind of love. If harm comes near. Even when under the control of the executioner.
