A record of the Eight Great Herukas according to the system of Ratna Lingpa, arranged for easy practice, entitled "The Illuminator of Samye for the Eight Great Herukas." A record of the Eight Great Herukas according to the system of Ratna Lingpa, arranged for easy practice, entitled "The Illuminator of Samye for the Eight Great Herukas." A record of the Eight Great Herukas according to the system of Ratna Lingpa, arranged for easy practice, entitled "The Illuminator of Samye for the Eight Great Herukas." Homage to glorious Samantabhadra, the Great Supreme Heruka! Here, as I write a record of the combined practice of the Eight Great Herukas, I pray for the granting of permission and blessings. Thus, glorious Samantabhadra himself arises in various forms, peaceful and wrathful, and speaks the infinite tantras of the individual lineages of the Eight Great Herukas, and the complete tantra of the Eight Great Herukas, the Guhyasamaja, with its parts. Many tantras are hidden as treasures, and now the tantras of the Ancient Secret Mantras are written together in Tsang, with about thirty volumes, almost all of which are tantras of the Eight Great Herukas. The methods of practice for these tantras are infinite, including outer, inner, secret, and very secret practices. The Eight Great Herukas of Nyang's treasure have twenty-one volumes, and Chöwang's treasure is said to have four volumes. It is said that this Kun-dü Eight Great Herukas came from eight treasures. It is said that Ratna Lingpa's treasure of the Eight Great Herukas is so vast that it cannot be counted. This is called the combined practice, because it combines all outer, inner, and secret practices into one. This combined practice is clearly explained in the Guhyasamaja. From the treasures of Nyang and Chöwang, there is a detailed text called "The Great Commentary on the Combined Practice," with names. This system of Ratna is in agreement with the four great commentaries on the tantras, with no difference in meaning and only slight differences in wording. Moreover, the Dharma Lord of all the Dharma of Guru Chöwang's treasure is Gyalsé Pema Wangchen, and the reincarnation of Pema Wangchen is Ratna Lingpa. Therefore, Ratna Lingpa received the empowerments and transmissions related to the Eight Great Herukas of Chöwang's treasure in a dream from Guru Chöwang himself at the Samdrub Dechhen Temple. Also, on the night of the fifteenth day of the twelfth month of the Bird year, he went to Yangleshöd in Nepal in a dream, and received empowerment from the actual Orgyen.

We have obtained. The reason is that, as the Dharma lineage and Dharma lord of the Kagyu Chokyi Wangchuk tradition, and the key of Ratna Lingpa. Therefore, the empowerment of this Kagyu Dril-drub of Ratna Lingpa, and the ritual, Tor-zok, etc., require the oral instructions of the Chokyi Wangchuk tradition. Why is that? Because it is a mother-child relationship. Therefore, if it is possible to draw the elaborate mandala of the Chokyi Wangchuk tradition, that is the best. The medium is to draw a cloth mandala. The lowest is to draw a paper with nine single-door mandalas in the center of one mandala. If simplified, one mandala is enough. If that is not found either, then establish a complete charnel ground mandala, cover the deity's place with silk cloth, and place five or eight piles of grains on top. Place six piles of grains in the southeast. On top of the central pile of grains, place the mother mandala, or a container filled with grains, and inside the vase above the container, place many nectar pills, and as many haritaki and victorious medicines as possible. Place the vase substances, place the amulet and vajra knot on the mouth decoration. Place it on top of the mandala, or in front of it. If there is a Bhum-bu vase with a painting of Palchen, that is the best. If not, insert a tsakali into a Bhum vase filled with grains and arrange it. Smear red sandalwood on the iron stake, burn gugul, sprinkle mustard seeds, and decorate it with a silk headdress. Make a triangular stake seat and place it wherever it is convenient in the center of the mandala. Place nectar on the right side of the mandala, blood on the left side, a burning jewel torma in front, and finally offering water in the east, foot washing water in the southeast, flowers in the south, butter lamps in the west, perfume in the northwest, food in the north, and cymbals in the northeast. Arrange from placing the boundary flowers. In a clean container, place red torma and nine-pointed torma, and decorate with flesh and blood according to the food patterns of each Kagyu protector. The offering torma and the root torma of the three roots can be separated and arranged as convenient. If the outer edge of the mandala is arranged in a circle, then the root tormas are in the west, the offering food is in the south, the offering is in the north, and the assembly torma, offerings, stability, and protectors are all arranged on the east front. After that, according to the general tantric ritual, take refuge, generate bodhicitta, and dispel white obstacles. Except for the first time, there is no need to dispel white obstacles. Follow the Kagyu ritual and recite according to the ritual until the generation of the deity. "Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable's cause falls on the seat." From this sentence, "In the center of the mandala, remember the completion." Generate the deity.
