From the state of emptiness, in my own heart, I contemplate the essence of mind itself as a blackish-red Hūṃ, the color of fire, as one. Then, from the Hūṃ at my heart, a black Ai is emitted, pervading the sky. The nature of the Ai is a subtle triangle, with one corner pointing downwards, and in the expanse of the open-mouthed Ai: From Yaṃ, the black wind of the eon whirls and churns. Above that, from the Hūṃ, a Raṃ is emitted, and the firestorms of the eon blaze red and black. From the Raṃ that is emitted, the ocean of rakta churns with waves. From the expanse of blood bubbles floating like Mount Meru, in the waves like small and large continents and collapsing cliffs, from Suṃ is emitted the great earth of Sum, corpses rotting and unrotted, corpses, dry skulls ablaze with fire, smelling of filth, many great birds soaring, many predators running and tearing, gods, demons, and field protectors making sounds of lamentation and ha-ha. Above that, from Kaṃ is emitted a square Mount Meru of skeletons with tiers. Above that, the basis of the torma, the essence of all demons and oath-breakers gathered, appears as Mātṛ Rudra. The five poisons of all sentient beings of the three realms are gathered and dissolved into it. From the heart of the fierce self, a rain of weapons falls, liberating them. From the corpses collapsing with a crash, the eight great charnel grounds are surrounded by garlands of skin fire and vajra fences.
