Place it on (the sword). Then take up the sword, Hūṃ! By the powerful substance of the blazing sword that you hold, may all fierce actions be accomplished! Root mantra Śambhur, Dgra sri mā ra ya phaṭ! (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) Enemy Demon Destroy Phat! Thus, secretly place it. Thus, the main practice is completed. Even if it is not in the text, according to custom, holding the torma, Dharmakāya Amitābha, Sambhogakāya Mahākaruṇā, Nirmāṇakāya Padmasambhava, Khandro Yeshe Tsogyal, one hundred and eight treasure revealers, the victorious ones' intention transmission, the vidyādharas' symbolic transmission, the individual's ear-whispered transmission, the ḍākinīs' entrusted seal transmission, the treasure dharma's aspiration prayer transmission, the compassionate blessing transmission, and the glorious, precious lamas of the transmission of the meaning of the received teachings, please bless! In particular, I beseech the Bhagavan, the Tathāgata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, endowed with knowledge and conduct, the Sugata, Knower of the World, Tamer of Beings, the Unsurpassed, the Teacher of Gods and Humans, whose life and wisdom are immeasurable, Amitābha, Infinite Light, along with his retinue, to bestow blessings! Please pacify diseases! Please liberate from evil spirits! Please prolong life! Please increase glory! Please ripen and liberate! Oṃ Amideva Āh Hrih (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning), thus placing the torma on the crown of the head, recite the mantra three or seven times. Then scatter flowers, Hūṃ! Turning the wheel of Dharma in the Sukhavati Pure Land, constantly gazing upon sentient beings with compassion, vowing to benefit beings, may the samadhi of Amitābha bring auspiciousness! After saying this, thinking that until I attain enlightenment, I will regard this as my yidam, then repeat this passage, like the main deity, etc., Śam. This passage was personally bestowed by Amitābha himself to the incarnate Mingyur Dorje at the age of twelve, on the evening of the fifth day of the Saga month in the Fire Monkey year. May there be auspiciousness! The omitted sections in between were supplemented by Ra Ga Asya from the Sky Dharma. May those who connect with this eliminate obstacles to life and be reborn in the pure land of Sukhavati.
