When Yungdrung Pelgyi Senge was four years old, he asked his mother: "What is my name? What is my father's name? What is my clan's name? Mother, what is your name? What is the name of the healing teacher? Who is the one who gave me the name? Please tell me all of these from beginning to end." The mother replied: "Child, you are intelligent. Your name is Yungdrung Pelgyi Senge. Your father's name is Gonpo Ten. Your clan's name is Shubu. Your mother's name is Yungkyi. The healing teacher's name is O Rabtu Gyepa. The one who gave you the name is Yungdrung Pelgye." So she replied. "Then, what is your clan's name? Who is the king of the country? What signs appeared? When were you born?"
