In the past, many eons ago, in a kalpa called Kun Kö, in the teachings of a king named Buddha Manifestation, there was a king named Red Eyes. He had a hundred consorts, and one of the inferior consorts named Yabkur thought, "This king plays with all the consorts, and I am neglected. What should I do?" So she thought of poisoning the consorts. At that time, the king heard a formless voice in a dream: Dragon King, Peacock Feathered One, Eating the color, you will be freed from poison, Tomorrow at noon, spread it to all, The sand that brings happiness and joy. Then the king woke up and wondered if it was a demon or a god. He realized that it was the local deity. So he took the sand from the lake called Peacock Feathered Lake there. At that time, Yabkur mixed poison with food and made a sound to summon the consorts, and when it became noon, the king scattered sand on everyone, and everyone was freed from the poison. After that, the consorts were suffering because they had no children. The teacher, named Consciousness Master, prayed to the king, saying: Great King, why do you always dwell with an unhappy expression? King Red Eyes replied: Teacher, I am suffering because I have no children. Consciousness Master said: King, do not suffer, and I will attract consciousness with one who has Dharma. The king rejoiced and said: Good, good. Then the king and the consort Ötröma observed a retreat from the eighth day, and Consciousness Master revealed the truth, attracted the consciousness of those with Dharma, and a monk named Ge Drub infused the consciousness into it. Then, when the time came, the child was born. At that time, at the birth celebration feast, Consciousness Master made the aspiration: Long life, without disease, with happiness and joy, May your wishes be fulfilled, with Dharma, Like a wish-fulfilling jewel.

May a jewel be found! Then, a fine young Brahmin was asked to make a divination, and he identified it as a sign of being endowed with Dharma and merit. He was named Chöden. At that time, the father became jealous, and when the radiant mother was asleep, he stuffed ashes into the child's mouth and fled. At that time, the gods of that place removed the ashes from the child's mouth and raised him. Thereafter, he always respectfully served and resided there, and no disease or evil spirit could harm him. Then, when he grew up, the father became jealous and, no matter what harm he devised, such as poison, weapons, curses, wheels, or crosses, he could not harm him. When he stuck a knife into the queen's bed, the knife slightly pierced the queen, but it did no harm. Then, when the prince grew up, the king's treasury was empty, and he reported to his father, saying, 'O King, Father! I am going to the ocean to fetch jewels.' 'Do not say that, because you have red eyes. Why are you going to the ocean?' The prince said, 'I am going to fetch jewels, and I beg that both parents will grant me permission in any way.' He pleaded again and again, and when he was granted permission, he set out to the ocean to fetch jewels. There, he found two other princes as friends, and seven hundred people all entered the ocean. Then, when they encountered a crocodile, the other prince blew his conch, and the crocodile was displeased, so the prince killed the conch. Then, the conch appeared, and he thought that killing the conch was not good, and it would be better to throw away the corpse, so he threw the corpse into the ocean. Then, when they crossed the ocean, the two of them did not know how to identify jewels, so the prince identified them and gave them two jewels called Radiant Light and Cool Giver. Then, the prince said, 'Put your jewels in a wooden box and do not look at them until you have reached home.' And he entrusted them. He himself put the jewel that fulfills all desires into a wooden box. Then, he made a law for the other merchants that they could carry no more than three jewels. Then, the other two princes discussed it and said, 'This prince is deceiving us.' Without the prince knowing, they threw away the two jewels, Radiant Light and Cool Giver, and exchanged them for many other jewels. The prince carried sand, and the two of them also exchanged jewels from the sand. Then, when they boarded the ship, because there were too many jewels, the ship was about to sink.
