In the Sutra of Da-pa, it is said: Some Bodhisattvas have perfect thoughts, and even if the Buddha is not in the world, Dharma will arise from the sky, walls, and trees. Some Bodhisattvas have pure thoughts, and all teachings and instructions arise from their own mind's actions. Thus it is said. What is the meaning of this sutra? It comes from the Great Compilation of Sutras, spoken by the Blessed One. Among them, the first learner Bodhisattvas, and those who are in the three grades of the Path of Accumulation (great, medium, and small), and the Bodhisattvas who are in the Heat, Peak, Forbearance, and Supreme Dharma of the Path of Application, will not extract treasures, because they do not have the fortune to directly see the Blessed One who reveals the treasures, nor do they have the fortune to directly see the Vidyadharas who have attained the rainbow body. The perfect thought of a Bodhisattva refers to the period from the first bhumi to the tenth bhumi. After attaining the first bhumi, one directly realizes emptiness, therefore the thought is perfect. They have the fortune to extract these treasures, because from the first bhumi onwards, even if the Buddha is not in the world, they can see hundreds and thousands of Buddhas in an instant and gain the ability to hear the Dharma. "Some" means that this situation only happens to holy beings like this, but not to others. "Even if the Buddha is not in the world" means that Bodhisattvas who abide in the bhumis like this mostly encounter the appearance of the Buddha and personally hear the Dharma from the Buddha, but because of compassion for sentient beings, even when the Buddha is not in the world, they intentionally take birth as humans. At that time, they will not lack the Dharma, nor will they have the karmic obscurations caused by the lack of Dharma. By the power of the aspiration and pure intention to benefit the Dharma and sentient beings, treasure teachings will definitely appear. Among them, "in the middle of the sky" refers to the appearance of sky Dharma, mind treasures like this. "Sky" and "heaven" have the same meaning and are synonyms, even a cowherd knows this. "From walls and trees", where "walls" refers to temples, "trees" refers to pillars and under the Bodhi tree, etc., "all" refers to water and rocks, etc., showing that there are many other kinds.

Appear! These words, in general, are phrases that remain as they are. If these are arranged for easy understanding, then for some Bodhisattvas whose minds are completely pure, although the teacher of the Sutras, the Buddha Shakyamuni, and the teacher of the Mantras, the Buddha Padmasambhava, do not reside in person in this Jambudvipa, they will not be lacking in Dharma, because from the center of the sky, the Sky Dharma Mind Treasure will arise. From walls, that is, temples and wooden pillars, etc., Dharma will arise. This is the meaning of what is said. Then, regarding the meaning of Mind Treasure, it is also like this. The meaning of the Sutra in the Sutra of the Collection of the True Dharma is that the Bodhisattva whose mind is pure, although this is a Bodhisattva who remains as he is, the meaning of "some" is that even among the Bodhisattvas on the ground, few have the authority to control and extract treasures. Among the treasures, the emergence of Mind Treasures is even rarer, only a few, showing its rarity. It is not extracted from one's own mental actions, from rocks and walls; it is not spoken after seeing it in person; it is not composed based on previous scriptures; it is not like a spontaneous song of experience; it is not that whatever comes to mind is spoken and becomes a key instruction; it is not just saying whatever one wants, like a parrot's imitation. Rather, through "key instruction," it refers to the key instruction of the ripening empowerment, the key instruction of the path of liberation, and through "subsequent instruction," it refers to prophetic writings, and "everything arises," in short, it refers to all complete and unerring sublime Dharmas that will arise. Like this, among the three types of treasures: Sky Dharma Mind Treasure, Earth Treasure, and Mind Treasure, first, the emergence of Sky Dharma Treasure is explained, which has five aspects: essence, definition, cause, condition, and classification. Among them, the essence of Sky Dharma is the secret of the speech of all Buddhas, which is inconceivable. As it is said in the Inconceivable Secret Sutra: The Bhagavan, from enlightenment to Nirvana, did not utter a single letter through the operation of the tongue and palate. This is because He does not have breathing in and out, nor does He have conceptual thought. Even so, in order to accord with the thoughts of sentient beings,
