I am skilled in calculation of the place of recitation and astrology. I consider myself more knowledgeable than everyone else in things like exorcism. If others haven't learned profound teachings, I think they will come to me. I am always thinking of gathering disciples, but never think that death will come. Now, some Khenpos and Lamas are probably similar to me. I have looked at things like the "Collection of a Hundred Thousand Songs" and the " পদ্ম বকা থং (Padma bka' thang)" because I am skilled in writing. I have memorized many rituals, and I am always thinking of how to show off to people, but I don't know how to apply them to my own practice. Now, some people who think they are smart and know the scriptures are probably similar to me. I continuously make ཏོར་མ (gtor ma, देवनागरी: तोरमा, IAST: tormā, 汉语字面意思:食子) offerings to peaceful and wrathful deities, and even though I have done some retreats, I act like a powerful mantra practitioner. I have sharp divination skills and instructions, and if a hateful enemy appears, I will quickly kill them without delay. If wealth and possessions are lost, I act like I can summon spirits. If others call me for rituals, I guarantee to eliminate disease, old age, and death. Other than thinking about these things, I don't think about whether I can attain supreme enlightenment or whether it will benefit the next life. Even though I rely on Lamas and Acharyas, I don't think about whether I can learn qualities and instructions, or whether they can guide me on the path. I don't know how to generate faith and pure perception. I only pretend to meditate. Although I know how to protect and track movement, I don't maintain it continuously. Even if I protect once or twice a day, I am very happy to stay for a short time. I don't listen to the protection and don't want to observe. Three or four years have passed like this. The movement has not decreased, and it is no different from the beginning, so I think this may be useless. Now, some people who pretend to be practitioners are probably similar to me. At that time, even though I was young, I could quickly eliminate shadows by using the ཟ་ཡིག (za yig, देवनागरी: za yig, IAST: za yig, 汉语字面意思:za字) wheel and so on, and I was close to dying from childhood. By performing small exorcisms, I was well in the morning and evening. I almost died from a throat disease. By eliminating shadows, Oge Dorje (name) almost died from illness. By performing horse exorcisms, it was effective in the morning and evening. Even when these beneficial things happened, I only thought about how to show off to others, and I didn't know how to generate altruistic thoughts. Now, some people who perform village rituals are probably similar to me. This unexamined "pleasant experience," before receiving instructions on the key points, this way of thinking that arises in the mind is my own experience.

Without being sarcastic to others, please forgive me if I have offended. Then, at the age of seventeen, the reincarnation of Milarepa, from Karma Kunga Namgyal, I received the teachings of the Mahamudra Sahaja Union, which lasted for eighteen days. Since then, my understanding has been as follows: It is very difficult to obtain such a human body, and in order to extract the essence from this body, one must request and protect the vows. Because it is impossible to determine when one will die, one must diligently practice the Dharma. Wherever one is born, karma is the most important thing, and even for dogs, birds, the blind, beggars, etc., one may not necessarily be born as something else. If one is born into the three lower realms, it is like a prison with no way out. Even if one is born in the heavenly realms or as a human, it is impermanent and will eventually depart. Whether one is born in the heavenly realms or the lower realms, one will experience birth, old age, sickness, and death. Even if one is liberated from this, all sentient beings are parents. To achieve this goal, I must attain the state of Buddhahood. To save the suffering of samsara, I take refuge in the Three Jewels. For the benefit of all sentient beings, I also generate the mind of enlightenment to achieve Buddhahood. To clear away obstacles and accumulate merit, one must take various methods. To generate experience and realization, one must pray to the kind root guru with devotion and respect. The essence of all Dharmas is the Mahamudra. I have some understanding of it. The qualified guide, Lama Phuntsok, taught the Seven Aspects of Vairochana, etc. Placing a piece of wood and a pebble in front, the mind can only stay for a moment, unable to stay for long, wandering in all directions. Then, the teacher said to look for one's own mind, but no matter where I looked, inside, outside, or in between the body, or in any of the ten directions, I could not see any shape, color, or substance. I understood that the body and mind are separate. However, the body is like a house, and the mind is like a person, and I think it resides in the center of the heart. After that, I went to the presence of Drungpa, who had just woken up from his sunny bedroom, sitting in the sunlight with an incense stick in front of him. His face was also smiling. I prostrated and offered my realization: When I looked at the mind, I could not see any color or shape. When the mind looked at the mind, I could not remember anything, only a moment of peace, the center empty.
