A Brief Account of the Signs and Experiences in Connection with the Recitation and Accomplishment Practice of the Vidyadhara Yogi Ra Ga Asya, and a Concise Inner Biography. A Brief Account of the Signs and Experiences in Connection with the Recitation and Accomplishment Practice of the Vidyadhara Yogi Ra Ga Asya, and a Concise Inner Biography. A Brief Account of the Signs and Experiences in Connection with the Recitation and Accomplishment Practice of the Vidyadhara Yogi Ra Ga Asya. A Concise Inner Biography is Presented. Namo Guru Deva Dakini Hum! To the Guru, Yidam, Dakini, and Dharma Protectors, I prostrate with unwavering faith. To rejoice, be arrogant, and cling to reality Based on minor signs and omens like dreams Is said to be a cause of obstacles, Therefore, do not be overly joyful or elated, Nor have arrogance or strong clinging to reality. It is like saying smoke is a sign of fire. If, after diligently engaging in recitation and accomplishment practice, There are no signs or omens, it is a sign of ineffectiveness. Furthermore, in all new and old secret mantras, The best is direct perception, the intermediate is experience, and the lowest is in dreams, Signs of whether the practice has progressed on the path or not. The signs for examining good and bad dreams are explained. In the ultimate sense, dreams are false, Not only dreams, but this very manifestation is also false. Likewise, cause and effect, bad and good realms, Grounds, paths, and the twelve deeds, etc., All are untrue, merely illusory appearances. The only truth is the Dharmakaya, Where samsara and nirvana are inseparable, and cause and effect are simultaneous. Although the unborn Dharmadhatu alone is true, There is no clinging to it as either true or untrue. Therefore, until the final stage of the ten grounds, The results of good and bad dreams are said to be true. The meaning of this is found in the Sutra of the Tenth Ground, As preliminary signs of purifying habitual tendencies: Always appearing naked, Always performing great ablutions, All collections of impurities being cleansed, Being rescued from pure lake water, Being washed by continuous rain, Being burned by a great fire, From the peaks of great heights, Being swayed and turned by the wind. These are preliminary signs of purifying obscurations. Returning from great battles, Being freed from illness and recovering, Escaping from the hands of executioners, Escaping from the mouths of wild animals, Recovering from poisonous diseases, Being freed from all bonds. These are preliminary signs of being free from fear. The preliminary signs of attaining the grounds are: Ascending from thrones, etc.

Climbing ordinary ladders, climbing trees, climbing upwards, going to the top of mountains, climbing precious ladders, climbing stupas, climbing the ladders of the sky, these are omens of meaning. The omens of conquering lands are: sitting on a high throne, riding elephants, riding lions, riding great garudas, going to the top of stupas, sitting on the top of mountains, sitting in the emptiness of the sky, having worms appear on the body, sitting in the center of the sun. These are signs of a yogi abiding on the earth. The omens of a Buddha's son (Bodhisattva) are: being entrusted with the king's command, being appointed as a witness to the command, wielding power over a place, winning great battles, becoming a king oneself, having flowers grow on the head. The omens of mastering the Dharma are: finding good scriptures, likewise writing many, using them, explaining and showing them to others, determining it, looking in mirrors, drinking a glass bottle full, picking precious gems, holding a Dharma wheel in the hand, grasping the sun with the hand, circumambulating a mountain on the head. The omens of seeing the truth are: seeing places never seen before, seeing the vast three thousand worlds, going to other continents and cities, going to the top of mountains, seeing the vast sky, going upon the ocean, holding a lamp in the hand, seeing the essence of the sun. The omens of receiving prophecy are: hearing the sounds of musical instruments, hearing the roar of dragons, uttering the roar of lions, hearing the words of the Dharma's sound, seeing the peaceful smiling face of an image, hearing the Buddha's voice but not seeing the Buddha's face, goddesses singing songs, sounds arising in palaces, saying "sounding, sounding," blowing the conch of the Dharma. Thus it is said. Furthermore, in the fourth chapter, the Dream Manifestation Sutra of the Ratnakuta Sutra, the place of appearance of the Bodhi tree is said to be the second ground. Seeing Buddhas and Bodhisattvas surrounding in a dream is the ten grounds, not from the demon.
