How to Dissolve the Samaya of Supreme Individuals Who Have Passed Away for Two or Three Days. How to Dissolve the Samaya of Supreme Individuals Who Have Passed Away for Two or Three Days. Third, the method for dissolving the samaya of a lama or other samaya-holder who has passed away for two or three days is based on the three types of individuals who serve as supports: superior, intermediate, and inferior. In this case, we are considering an intermediate individual who abides on the path of Dzogchen in our own tradition and has attained a subtle result of liberation. Initially, perform the ritual of blessing one's own lineage, including generating bodhicitta, and arrange the necessary items as before. In particular, in front of the reliquary, arrange the mandala of offerings with the seven desirable qualities, preceded by two waters. The symbolic substances include the tsakli of the sixteen types of mothers. Arrange as many offerings as possible. Purify the corpse in front with Hayagriva (ཧྱ་གྷྲི་ཝ,Hayagrīva,马头明王). Purify it into emptiness with स्वाभाव (梵文天城体,svabhāva,svabhāva,self-nature). In the state of emptiness of the inherent nature of the support appearance in front, above a lion throne, lotus, sun, and moon, from the letter Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,Hūṃ,seed syllable), light radiates, offering to the noble ones, purifying the obscurations of sentient beings, gathering back, completely transforming into Lama Vajrasattva (རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས,Vajrasattva,金刚萨埵), white and clear, with one face and two arms, holding a vajra and bell, with silk garments, precious ornaments, etc., possessing the splendor of the complete enjoyment body with marks and signs, with two feet, the right extended and the left bent in a playful posture. The three syllables at the three places and the essence of oneself, the light rays of the life-force Hūṃ at the heart radiating and gathering, invite and dissolve from the nature of the object of focus. Homage to the three bodies, three jewels, three roots, and protectors, by the power of the truth of blessing, compassion, and ability, that one who has passed away peacefully from this world, wherever they may reside in the realms of samsara and nirvana, invite and stabilize them inseparable from the support. Oṃ guru vajradhāra ehya hi vajrasamādza (ཨོཾ་གུ་རུ་བཛྲ་དྷ་ར་ཨེ་ཧྱ་ཧི་བཛྲ་ས་མཱ་ཛཿ,oṃ guru vajradhāra ehyāhi vajrasamādza, inviting the Vajradhara Guru to come here). Invite. Jaḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ (ཛཿཧཱུྃ་བཾ་ཧོཿ,jaḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ,hook, merge, bind, abide) stabilize. Then, bless and dedicate the obstacle-destroying torma. Until reciting the power of truth, do as before. Relying on the power and blessing of the great power of truth, may all the obstacles and misleading forces that obstruct the liberation and the path and ground of omniscience of this virtuous friend Vajradhara be averted by this torma, reciting the ransom of the path, etc., and dispel them with mustard seeds, etc., and then meditate on the protective circle. Then, holding a mirror and a bathing vase, the Tathagatas of the ten directions and three times in this place
