As it says, "a quarter of a horn," the way of explaining the meaning is different. Like the ten-fingered vajra, about half the width of the makara's nose horn protrudes outward, and through it, one should understand that the ways of protrusion are different. Therefore, the makara's nose should come out of the horn, not into it, which makes no sense. In the Root Tantra of Vajra Dakini, it says that the meaning of the vajra's water width being equal is: if a thread is stretched around from the root of either horn, it is equal to the tip of the handle horn or the central horn; one revolution around the center thickness is equal to half a vajra, and two revolutions are equal to the width of one vajra. The horns all seem to emerge from the moon corresponding to their own lotus petals. The directional horns of the wrathful vajra separate outward, almost touching the central horn, and the tips of the horns are very sharp. The three-pronged vajra has only two directional horns, and the single-pointed vajra has no directional horns, and the others are the same as described before. The twenty-horned vajra has five horns on each side. The explanation of the ornamental vajra, etc., is not written. Next, the structure of the bell will be explained. Regarding the material, the Vajra Dakini says: "The bell is made entirely of metal, or of three metals." The three metals mentioned are gold, silver, copper, etc. This refers to the upper part, and the lower part refers to the handle known as "pear." The Ocean of Dakinis says: "The bell always has three parts." These three parts are: some lamas consider the bell body as one part, and the upper vajra as two parts, making a total of three parts. However, Khedrup Je, according to what is said in the All-Encompassing Goodness: "The bell always has six parts," etc., considers that when divided into six parts, the bell body is four parts, and the upper vajra is two parts, and then the two parts are combined into one part, thus becoming three parts. That is, the upper half vajra combined with the lotus is one part, and the face bottle of Prajnaparamita combined with the base is one part, these two parts represent the formless realm. The position on the bell body where the signs of the eight goddesses are inscribed represents the form realm. The part below it, that is, the inner vajra together with the sky, represents the desire realm. The net above the bell body

The two upper parts of the end of the half-net and the two lower parts make four parts. In the 'Good Hold All', it says: 'The space inside the bell, the width and the mouth are equal.' Saying that the mouth and width are equal means that the height of the bell and the extent of the width inside, which is slightly shrunken like a pigeon's beak, these two dimensions are equal. On the outer edge of the shrunken mouth, between two strings of pearls is an upright vajra string, and between the top of the net and half-net and the tip of the lotus petals, a vajra string should be placed lying down on the mouth. However, it is not clear in the tantra commentary whether it should be lying down or upright. On top of the bell's belly, three horizontal bars are suitable for placing the handle, and on top of that, a vase is placed on a square platform, and on top of that, the face of the Prajna Mother, which is the same size as the vase, and on top of that, a half vajra with a lotus belt and a moon. Replacing the vase with a hole is not mentioned anywhere, so it is unreasonable. On the eight lotus petals on the outside of the belly, the seed syllables of the eight goddesses should be placed. Starting from Garland and Manjushri, assuming it starts from the south, clockwise, they are: Jyanma, Mamaki, White-clad Mother, and Tara, with the four seed syllables ཡཾ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, yam, wind), མཾ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, mam, water), བཾ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, vam, water), ཏཾ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, tam, earth), and in the corners are the seed syllables of Wealth-giving Mother, Cunda, Wrathful Mother, and Garland Mother བཾ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, vam, water), ཙུཾ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, cum, unknown), བྷྲཾ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, bhram, unknown), མཾ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, mam, water). In Sambhuti and Seat Four Dharmas, etc., starting from the east, the four Taras etc. are in the four directions, and the seed syllables of the four goddesses are placed in the corners as before. The seed syllable of Tara is placed in the east, so the face of the Prajna Mother also faces east. Placing the seed syllable of Tara in the east is different from the case where Jyanma is in the east, Tara is in the southeast, and the north and northeast arrive, because it has a special symbolic meaning, so there is no contradiction. Below the top of the lotus petals where the seed syllables are placed, between the two belts is a vajra string, and below the vajra string, nets and half-nets hang on the side of the bell's belly, with a complete net directly below the lotus petals in each direction, and in the gaps between them, a triple-folded half-net hangs from the mouth of an animal. Inside the eight nets, the wheel is in the east, the jewel is in the south, the lotus is in the west, and the sword is in the north.
