Homage to Vajradhara! The method for bestowing the empowerment of the supreme yidam deities associated with the four classes of tantra will be explained according to the traditions of the wise. This has two parts: the general permission and the specific permission. The first of these has two aspects: citing the systems of other scholars and the method of how to do it oneself. The first of these is extensive. In the Sadhana Ocean of Panchen Tar Tze Pa, it says: after first performing the self-generation and front-generation, offering the mandala, the common supplication, teaching the Dharma, and taking the vows of individual liberation, then after the uncommon supplication and generating the disciple as the deity, for the empowerment of the body: light radiates from the heart of the master, striking the heart of the front-generation deity. The light from its heart invites the essence of the wisdom deity, which is non-dual with the hearts of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and dissolves it into the disciple's body, and purification is spoken. For the empowerment of speech, the disciple respectfully bows to the lama, and from the deity's seed-syllable and mantra-rosary in the master's heart, a second one appears as one lamp lighting another, emerging from his mouth and entering the disciple's mouth, settling at the end of the seed-syllable in the heart, and the mantra is recited three times, with the disciple saying \"Bhagavan, I, etc.\" and the master saying \"Bhagavan, this, etc.,\" scattering flowers and purifying. For the empowerment of mind: since there is no object, there is no meditation. After saying these things and communicating the meaning, the disciple is visualized as the deity, the stages of dissolution are performed, and the sign of settling on the view is communicated, and purification is spoken, and offerings and praises, requests for forgiveness, and requests to depart are made to the assembly. Ngorpa Konchok Lhundrup says: From the Hundred Sadhanas, after first performing the self-generation etc., and generating the disciple as the deity, making the bond of the three commitments, as before, the deity invited from the hearts of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas is dissolved, and after purification, in the permission of recitation, there is the recitation permission of the mantra, and in the permission of the commitment, there is the commitment to regard that deity as the supreme deity until enlightenment, recited three times, and purification is spoken. In the permission of blessing, the light from the master's heart radiates to the heart of the deity in front." } ] ============================================================

Through the inspiration of the tantra, manifest the essence of non-dual wisdom as a deity form the size of a thumb. It dissolves from the crown of the disciple's head, becoming inseparable from the seed-syllable at the heart. Then, gather it and place it on the view, speaking words of purity. Everything else remains as before. By Chim Namkha Drak. From the "Hundred Methods of Nangtang." First, perform the self-generation and front-generation, vase practice, etc. Then, show the mandala. For the body empowerment, there is a common and uncommon supplication: "All Buddhas of the three times, Vajra Master of the body, please grant me the body empowerment of this supreme deity." Pray like this three times. To establish the basis for the empowerment, generate the disciple as the deity and bless the three places. Generate great devotion and longing for the guru. The light from the guru's heart strikes the heart of the deity in front. From that light, invite all the blessings of the bodies of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, transforming into the forms of those deities. Visualize that countless deity bodies also arise from yourself and the deity in front, dissolving into the disciple's body. At the end of the verse "Of all sentient beings without exception," dissolve with Vajra Avesha A A Jah Hum Vam Hoh (བཛྲ་ཨ་བེ་ཤ་ཨ་ཨ་ཛཿཧཱུཾ་བཾ་ཧོཿ,vajra āveśa ā ā jaḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ,Vajra Entering A A Born Hum Vam Hoh). Again, with the light from the seed-syllable at your heart, invite the empowerment deity and supplicate. Recite "As the Tathagata was born," etc., and when bestowing the empowerment, sprinkle vase water, recite mantras, and have the disciple drink the water, receiving the blessing of the body. Purify the obscurations of the body. Establish the power to accomplish the body. Visualize the remaining water remaining on the crown of the head, adorned with the family of the Tathagatas. For the speech empowerment, change the previous "body" to "speech." From the heart of the guru and the front-generation deity, the garland of mantras breaks as before, emanating from the mouth. With light, invite all the blessings of the speech of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, transforming into the form of the deity's mantra, and together they enter the disciple's mouth. Abide around the seed-syllable at the heart, and recite the mantra three times. The guru scatters flowers, and recites "Bhagavan, please grant me," etc., three times. The light from the guru's heart transforms all the blessings of the deity's speech into the letters of vowels and consonants.
