The permission of the five deities of Amitayus of the Jam system transmitted from Jamyang to Je Rinpoche etc. The permission of the five deities of Amitayus of the Jam system transmitted from Jamyang to Je Rinpoche etc. The permission ritual of the five deities of Amitayus of the Jam system transmitted from Jamyang to Je Rinpoche etc. Homage to the Bhagavan Amitayus! Here, the method of accomplishing the realization-permission of the five deities of Amitayus transmitted from Je Rinpoche is twofold. First, after preceding with refuge and bodhicitta etc., purify it into emptiness with Svabhava. From the state of emptiness, from Pam arises a lotus, and from Ah arises a lunar mandala, upon which one's own mind-essence is the letter HRIH, red, with a long mark and a strong dot. From that, one is completely transformed into the Victorious Amitayus, with a red-colored body, one face, two arms, holding a vase filled with the nectar of immortal life in the mudra of meditation. Adorned with marks and examples, possessing the aspect of complete enjoyment. Clothed in precious ornaments and various silk garments. Seated in the vajra posture in the center of a mass of light. On its crown is OM (ༀ,Devanagari: ओ,IAST: oṃ,Literal meaning: Om), at its throat is AH (ཨཱཿ,Devanagari: आः,IAST: āḥ,Literal meaning: Ah), and at its heart is HUM (ཧཱུཾ,Devanagari: हुं,IAST: hūṃ,Literal meaning: Hum). From the HUM (ཧཱུཾ,Devanagari: हुं,IAST: hūṃ,Literal meaning: Hum) at the heart, rays of light emanate. From Sukhavati, Amitayus, who is similar to the one being meditated upon, is invited. DZA HUM BAM HOH (ཛཿཧཱུཾ་བཾ་ཧོཿ). It becomes inseparable from the samaya being. Again, from the HUM (ཧཱུཾ,Devanagari: हुं,IAST: hūṃ,Literal meaning: Hum) at the heart, rays of light emanate. The deities of empowerment are invited. Please grant empowerment to us. Having made this request, from those deities, a vase filled with the nectar of wisdom, from "vase" to "abiding on the crown," is completely transformed, and the crown is adorned with the Nirmanakaya Amitayus, inseparable from the lama. Having blessed the offerings, offer with OM APARAMITA AH AYURJÑANA SAPARIWARA ARGHAM (ༀ་ཨ་པ་ར་མི་ཏ་ཨཱ་ཨུརྫྙཱ་ན་ས་པ་རི་ཝཱ་ར་ཨརྒྷཾ།) up to SHAPTA (ཤཔྟ།). Homage and praise to the Bhagavan Protector Amitayus, having removed the stains of sin, possessing a body equal to space, homage to the body of equality. From the vase, the attribute of the lineage lord Amitayus, on the lunar seat, surrounded by the essence mantra and the long mantra around the letter HRIH (ཧྲཱིཿ), rays of light emanate. One's own life, which has been stolen, robbed, or diminished by non-humans, etc., is gathered into the form of a vase and skull filled with nectar,

Dissolves into the garland of mantras. Furthermore, gathering the essence of all beings and those who have come into being, the life, glory, merit of all beings and noble ones, and all the blessings of body, speech, and mind of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, dissolves into the garland of mantras. From this, a stream of nectar arises, filling the vase, the nectar is clear white, entering from the fontanel of one's own crown. Filling the inside of the body, purifying impurities. Contemplate attaining the deathless life of a vidyadhara. Recite Ama Ra Ni, and the long dharani. Finally, recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra, and perform offerings and praises as before. Then, to perform the life empowerment, first accomplish the vase of the front generation: Purify the life vase, purify with Svabhava. The life vase becomes emptiness. From the state of emptiness, from the syllable Bhrum arises a red vase, with a large belly, a long neck, and a protruding mouth, adorned with divine garments around the neck, and adorned with a wish-fulfilling tree at the mouth, clear and unobstructed. The outer vase contains a divine palace, square with four doors, etc., all characteristics are completely perfect. In the center of that, from the syllable Pam arises a lotus with four different colored petals, in the center and on the petals, from the syllable A arises a moon mandala. On top of each of those is the letter Hrih, red, with a long mark, a tseg, and a drag. All of those transform, from the central seat arises Buddha Amitayus, in the east is Amitayus of the wheel family, in the south is Amitayus of the jewel family, in the west is Amitayus of the lotus family, in the north is Amitayus of the karma family. All of those deities are red in color, with one face and two arms, holding a vase filled with deathless life nectar in the mudra of meditative equipoise. Etc., as before. When inviting, add "Amitayus of the five families," and perform offerings and praises as before. As for recitation: contemplate the hand symbols of the Amitayus of the five families inside the vase, the syllable Hrih on the moon seat inside the vase, and the essence and long dharani after that, visualizing the increase and decrease of the disciples' lifespans, etc., all drawn in the form of a vase and skull filled with nectar, dissolving into the garland of mantras. From that, a stream of nectar descends, contemplate the vase becoming filled with nectar. Recite the two dharanis as much as possible. Like the long life wine feast, bless according to whatever is appropriate, elaborate or concise.
