Lawa Po Rinpoche's own disciple was Terton Jampel Gyatso. Moreover, the venerable Manjushri said to Tertonpa, "You should urge him to write a praise to Rinpoche." This is a settled matter. Not only did this praise spread everywhere, but when it was chanted, even dull-witted people like myself developed special devotion and respect for the teacher from a young age, to the point that tears welled up in my eyes and the hairs on my body stood on end, and so on, happened many times. Because when reciting other praises, such special devotion and respect does not arise. As it is said: Furthermore, in many secluded places, Manjushri said: "Write this and similar treatises, and it will benefit the doctrine and beings." Tsongkhapa who acted according to the teachings. Because this praise perfectly contains the above special meaning. The author said: Tsongkhapa, who is known as the Second Buddha, in order to become the crest jewel of the human and divine teacher Shakyamuni, composed this magnificent string of words praising his qualities, and spread it as an ornament on the necks of all fortunate ones. May the meaning of this, like a wish-fulfilling jewel of the ocean, be manifestly offered as the pinnacle of the victory banner of good speech, and with its great rain of fulfilling good wishes, may all intelligent seekers of the Dharma gather here. May the goodness of striving here become the friend of the lotus, and may we obtain a good human and divine body in all lifetimes, and may we be compassionately cared for by the Buddha Shakyamuni himself, and may we uphold all the Buddha's sacred Dharma. This is a slightly detailed commentary on this praise that was written before, although I wanted to carve it into a block, but it was lost and not found, so again this commentary was written with faith by a Shakya monk named Drakpa Shedrup at the age of eighty-eight at Choni Monastery. The scribe for the printing was the monk Kunga Norbu. Carved by Phagpa Kyab. Mangalam! Commentary on the Third Chapter: Lamp Illuminating the Intent of Je Rinpoche.
