May the excellent spiritual friend strive by means of following and holding. As it is said, it is easy to understand. Secondly, the excellent entrance for those with wisdom who desire liberation, from diligence in this precious collection of words, may all beings, through the merit that arises from this, not be separated from the protector of the excellent spiritual friend. By relying on that, may the eye of wisdom be purified, and may we realize the excellent ways of the Victorious One as they are, and may we immediately practice as soon as we realize them, and may there be no obstacles to practicing in that way. To those who have not realized, may we first make them happy with generosity motivated by love, and finally, by speaking words that are meaningful, well-spoken, and pleasing to the ear, may we encourage them to enter into virtuous conduct. So it is said. The first verse prays for the cause of not being separated from the excellent spiritual friend, the second prays that after realizing the meaning taught by that, we may practice and that there may be no obstacles to that, and the third is a prayer that we may be able to accomplish the benefit of others through the four ways of gathering. The third colophon says: Thus, the collection of words of the three unsurpassed jewels, called the "The Precious Discourse on the Three Jewels", was composed by the greatly learned monk Shar Tsongkhapa Lobsang Drakpa at Drok Riwoché Ganden Nampar Gyalwai Ling, and the scribe was Ga Zhiwa Rinchen Pal. May this also enable the precious teachings to spread in all directions. So it is said. The words of Je Tsongkhapa, who is known as the Second Victorious One, the meaning of the Precious Discourse on the Three Jewels, with the lotus garden of faith, and the fingertips of wisdom, slightly analyzed. May all beings in all lives be cared for by the inseparable love of the venerable lama, and may we have the fortune to uphold all the sutras and tantras of the Buddha's teachings as they are, according to the intention of the Victorious Ones. This was also composed by the Shakya monk Drakpa Shedrup with faith at Choni Monastery, and the scribe was Khyo Lung Kachu Lobsang Wangchuk, and Kachu Lobsang Nyima donated money to carve the woodblocks at the time of naming. May there be auspiciousness! A concise commentary on Je's Precious Discourse on the Three Jewels.
