A concise commentary on the combination of the three jewels of Je. A concise commentary on the combination of the three jewels of Je. A concise commentary on the combination of the three jewels of Je exists. Namo Manjughoshaya. (Tibetan: ན་མོ་མཉྫུ་གྷོ་ཥཱ་ཡ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: नमः मञ्जुघोषाय, Sanskrit Romanization: namaḥ mañjughoṣāya, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to the Gentle Voice). Two accumulations are well-driven by seven green horses, Surpassing in the sky of Bodhisattva conduct, Completely victorious over the enemy of the darkness of the two obscurations, I prostrate before the supreme sun of the Sugata's speech. The Sutra and Tantra teachings of the Victorious One are all-encompassing, Having well-grasped the intention of the Victorious One as it is, Making the teachings of the Victorious One clear in all directions, I prostrate before the noble Guru, the son of the Victorious One. That protector, for the sake of showing others the entrance to liberation as he himself has seen it, Says, 'The combination of the three jewels,' I will briefly explain the meaning of what was bestowed. There are three parts to this: entering the explanation, the actual explanation, and the concluding sequence. The first has four parts: aspiration, stating the title, taking refuge, and offering praise along with the commitment to compose. The first is: Om, may there be well-being and auspiciousness. The second is: Called the combination of the three great unsurpassed orders. The third is: I respectfully take refuge in the lotus feet of the noble Guru Manjushri. The fourth has three parts, the first of which is: Following the Victorious One with steadfast faith, Diligently cultivating with undiminished discernment, Wanting to take the essence from the Sugata's words, Wanting to proclaim the combination of precious words. This shows the actual commitment, And whoever, even with a mere fraction of the dewdrop of compassion, Enters the mind, effortlessly, Bestows the supreme gift of speech, Manjushri, I prostrate to him, this is the praise, May the hope be fruitful, this is the prayer for the accomplishment of the desired meaning. The second, the actual explanation, has three parts: showing the cause of entering the three jewels that are to be cultivated by the wise, identifying the three jewels, and the manner of how to enter the three jewels. The first is: The prosperity of existence is as fleeting as a lightning dance, Youth is impermanent like water rushing down a steep mountain, Having realized this, when a great intellect thinks, 'What kind of knowledge should I cultivate?' This is to show.
