Transformation and necessity do not seem apparent. Some biographies describe what the kings and changes of the time were like, and how offerings were made to oneself, but because the necessity is small, it is omitted. If the necessary thing is to write like that, then one might wonder how the practice was done. Although it is difficult for Lama Grongchokpa to have good practice, I will say a little. In general, the practice and perseverance of the great holy beings of the past are difficult for ordinary people to have now. However, although I consider myself diligent, when I see some ignorant and foolish people being diligent now, we do not think that we are very diligent. Even so, apart from the fact that doing Grongchok for others or oneself cannot be abandoned for the time being, one rarely engages in meaningless distractions and meaningless stays without reciting, reading, or writing, one of the three. Some retreats and recitations are done, and restrictions are also made, reciting Guhyasamaja, Chakrasamvara, Vajrabhairava, etc., as well as their Guru Yoga, and the Yoga of some other deities, as well as the Chakrasamvara Tantra, the Guhyasamaja Tantra, and the Manjushri Namasamgiti, etc., and many dharani mantras, and prayers invoking the names of many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and the essence of the Lamrim—loving-kindness, compassion, higher intention, bodhicitta, view—one tries to strive in the heart as much as possible every day. I will not elaborate further here. It is said: Excellent, excellent, the Buddha's sutra and mantra, the sacred Dharma, definitely, definitely, for the sake of upholding, the wise, wise, holy spiritual friends of the past, deeply, deeply, I prostrate with a respectful mind. Although I do not remember the succession of births, in the past life, the tradition of the Buddha's Dharma of the past, here, the result of the aspiration to uphold it in this way, what matures in whom in this way is wonderful. That is also because of the place, time, benefactor, favorable conditions, etc., many auspicious coincidences together, from the accumulation, the cause and condition, how could it produce such a perfect result? When the breeze blows, like comparing the beauty of the kapok petals, driven by the power of the holy wind, the biography of the little bird shows like the posture of the Garuda, this can be seen here.

On the white, moon-like surface of the paper, Some actions of extremely ignorant children appear. Like the mark of an exquisitely beautiful rabbit, It appears to those with blurred vision. However, in numerous sutras and tantras, Even if the qualities and activities of one's own root guru are inferior, Praise will bring benefit, Because it is said that great benefit will arise. Therefore, here, Even if one does not possess the qualities of understanding and realization, It is not contradictory for disciples to greatly praise. Having seen this situation, the steward of Koushi Neso, Offered khatas, mandalas, gold, silver, and silk, Together with the assembly of the lineage, At the urging, the one named "Shedup" (Explanation and Practice) himself, At the age of twenty-six, When serving as the lineage's teacher, neither borrowing, Nor fabricating merely to consider others' feelings, But composing it as appropriately as possible. Thus it is said. This biography of the teacher named "Shedup" is: The steward of the venerable Bodhichitta Mila Rinpoche, named Gelong Ngawang Tashi, after entering the tantric college and being granted the title of tantric lama, thought to himself that although he did not have outstanding appearance and abilities, he was fortunate to have engaged in some study and contemplation of the tantric teachings, and that he had barely entered the ranks of advanced scholars, all of this was due to the kindness of the teacher Rinpoche and Koushi Yeshe. Merely to repay their kindness, he had the biographies of the teacher and disciple printed, and with this merit, may the teachings of explanation and practice of the lineage flourish, and may the printer himself, in all lifetimes, successively obtain good support for practicing the tantric teachings, and quickly attain the state of Vajradhara. The scribe of the printing is Gelong Lobsang Phuntsok. Auspicious! Auspicious! The Biography of Teacher Shedup—Stars Twinkling.
