The Biography of the Learned and Accomplished Master, Adorned with Stars The Biography of the Learned and Accomplished Master, Adorned with Stars The Biography of the Learned and Accomplished Master, Adorned with Stars is here. Namo Manjughoshaya. Homage to Manjughosha) Riding the chariot of wind-like skillful means and wisdom, ascending the flawless Dharmakaya city, Limitless activities radiate a thousand lights, suppressing the stars of false speech, Dispelling the darkness of ignorance of those to be tamed, and causing the lotus of auspiciousness to bloom. To the sun of speech, the King of the Shakyas, I prostrate at all times. From the very beginning, having attained supreme enlightenment, perfected in abandonment and realization, Yet feigning as a prince, enjoying the ocean of Bodhisattva conduct, Skilled in raining down the great rain of profound and vast Dharma upon the fields of those to be tamed, To the lotus feet of the Regent Mipham Manjushri, I always pay homage with my head. On the summit of the precious mountain of the Buddha's teachings, upon the lord of the earth who has heard much, With eyes wide open, gazing upon the expanse of the great earth of scriptures, holding the hundred-pointed vajra of discriminating wisdom, Destroying the armies of the heretical Asuras, bestowing the excellent vase of nectar of good speech, The two great chariots and others who bestow are always praised by the wise of the world. Dwelling in the snowy mountains of hundreds of sutras and tantras, complete with the strength and power of body, speech, and mind of great learning, With sharp teeth and claws of reasoning and scripture, blazing fiercely, devouring the brains of opposing elephants, Adorned with the supreme mane of discriminating wisdom, proclaiming the roar of the profound meaning, King of Dharma, Tsongkhapa, why are you not the lion of speech? That protector's treasury of the sacred Dharma of sutra and tantra, Holding it as it is, benefiting the teachings and beings, Benefiting beings, such as the Regent, Khedrup, and Dulzin, To the lineage holders who have come in succession, I respectfully prostrate. Especially to me, a jewel of intelligence has dawned, Sutras, tantras, empowerments, transmissions, instructions, sciences, etc., Raining down the rain of good explanations and accomplishments, the kind All the gurus, I respectfully prostrate. To those like me, who are narrow-minded and boastful of knowledge, History is like a child's game, Like a lotus in the sky, unable to please the wise. However, just like a great drum, When struck by a mallet, uncontrollably, Sound arises from itself,

Alas! The ability to abide freely is completely lost. In front of the cuckoo of wisdom, I proclaim some historical trivialities. Even if this way is difficult to become an auditory ornament for the wise, please do not let it become a thorn that pricks the heart. I am not guilty. With this opening, I will now speak about the main topic: The place where we were born is the Tho'u region of Do-mey, also called Yao-sa or Rab-so, which belongs to the jurisdiction of the Chone King. In a place where many wise men have emerged, my father, named Bonpo Yundon Gyatso, was from a family in that area that had traditionally practiced Bon. He was known for his proficiency in writing and reciting, and was also proficient in Bon, Nyingma Tantra, and Black Calculation. My mother, named Kelsang Men, was also born in Tso-sum, where Bon and mantra practitioners were combined in a family. From a young age, she memorized the Tara Sutra and recited it regularly. Others held white umbrellas and recited from the side, and she could remember some of it sporadically, which I witnessed myself. Both parents had devout faith and great wisdom. In their time, there was no couple in that area who were more harmonious than them. This was said by some people, and Lama Gonchrompa himself said it, which I heard with my own ears. From the union of such parents, on the morning of the eighth day of the first month of the Wood Rabbit year, I was born safely, which my mother said many times. That year, my father brought a contagious disease from China, which infected my mother, causing her to be unable to breastfeed, and I was on the verge of death. Fortunately, my elder sister, Tso Mo Tso, saved me with her methods. After being raised, when I was five years old, I often saw young monks who came to my house to study scriptures. Hearing them recite the scriptures, I could remember some of them, and without learning to write, I could recognize some words sporadically, which my parents said. When I was seven years old, I began to learn to write and read, and recited the scriptures, learning them without difficulty. When I was nine years old, during the great tenth-month festival of the Pig year, I received the novice vows from the presence of Trichen Khen Rinpoche Gedun Drakpa. After that, before the age of fifteen, I studied the "Kunrig" and "Tseding."
