The Uposatha ritual for novices: Bow three times to a qualified Bhikshu and request: Please pay attention to the Uposatha. Thus, in front of each Bhikshu, there should be at least three people, but no limit to the maximum. Please listen, Venerable Ones, etc. Today's Sangha's Uposatha is the fourteenth or fifteenth time. I, the novice named so-and-so, am also doing the fourteenth or fifteenth Uposatha. I, the novice named so-and-so, have purified all obstructing Dharmas. I hereby report. Please, Venerable Ones, accept me as completely pure. After repeating this three times, the Bhikshu should say: Well done! The novices should say: Good! This is the Uposatha of the novices. Shubham!
