A Concise Lamp Illuminating the Meaning of Words and Meanings, Together with the Self-Commentary Clarifying the Tantric Meaning of the Sarvavid Ritual. A Concise Lamp Illuminating the Meaning of Words and Meanings, Together with the Self-Commentary Clarifying the Tantric Meaning of the Sarvavid Ritual. This is the Concise Lamp Illuminating the Meaning of Words and Meanings, Together with the Self-Commentary Clarifying the Tantric Meaning of the Sarvavid Ritual. By reciting the names, dharanis, and mantras, one is freed from the suffering of the lower realms, and perfectly connected to higher realms, definite goodness, and the supreme. I respectfully prostrate to the Bhagavan, the All-Knowing One. The supreme speech of that protector, the Yoga Tantra, the essence of all tantras, the glorious method of completely liberating all beings from all lower realms, is the glorious King of Tantras for purifying the lower realms. The order of rituals that clarifies the meaning of the tantra, the foremost son of the wise Victorious One, who manifestly holds the banner of fame, has adorned the great earth of teachings and beings. His practice has spread in all directions, and who else but him has promoted and expanded it? Although I cannot express any other special qualities, I will explain it in accordance with the treatises of the wise, not merely repeating what others have said, because I am familiar with this supreme path and I think it may be beneficial to some seekers of meaning. Here, I wish to explain a concise compilation of essential points, with some debate, based on the recitation of the Sarvavid ritual composed by Dulzin Drak Gyaltsen, the spiritual son of Je Lama, and his great commentary, etc., which are based on the reliable texts of accomplished masters. In this, some well-known things are set aside, and it will be explained by adorning it with the order of visualization that is close to practical application. Thus, if we gather all the teachings of our teacher, the Blessed One, they can be summarized into the two scriptures of the Great and Small Vehicles. The Great Vehicle can also be determined as Mantra and Paramita. Mantra can also be determined as the four classes of tantra: Kriya Tantra, Charya Tantra, Yoga Tantra, and Anuttarayoga Tantra. What is explained here is the Tantra for Purifying the Lower Realms, which is a part of the Yoga Tantra. From where did this originate?

It is. The essence of the root tantra is derived from the chapter of "The Treasury That Frees from the Lower Realms." Here, there are three: the root tantra, the subsequent tantra, and the subsequent's subsequent. Among these, the root tantra is the fundamental mandala, and in the subsequent tantra, the mandala of Shakyamuni Buddha's body, the mandala of Amitabha Buddha's speech, and the mandala of Vajrapani's mind are described. This subsequent tantra has two aspects: mundane and supramundane. The first is: Vajrapani is surrounded by eight great gods, eight great nagas, eight great planets, nine terrors, ten directional protectors, and four great kings, totaling six mandalas. In the subsequent's subsequent tantra, the mandala of the qualities of a Chakravartin and the mandala of fiery activity are described, totaling two. There are six mundane mandalas and six supramundane mandalas, totaling twelve. Here, the method of practicing the Kunrig root mandala and the sequence of supplementary rituals are explained in two parts: the practice ritual and the mandala ritual. The first is divided into two: transforming oneself into the deity through reliance, and accomplishing siddhis after making the activity feasible. The first is divided into two: yoga with signs and yoga without signs. The first is divided into three: the preliminary practices of the sadhana, the main practice, and the sequence of session intervals. The first is divided into two: the sequence of what to do first and the explanation of the actual preliminary practice. The first is: the practitioner who has received empowerment and properly maintains vows and precepts, generally, from the preliminary practices of other sadhanas, needs to visualize oneself as the deity and then perform offerings and blessings. Here too, one must first visualize oneself as Vajrasattva and then bless the vajra bell, offerings, etc. This is because it is stated in the tantras and commentaries such as the "Commentary Clarifying the Meaning of the Tantras," and it is also clearly stated in the Kunrig ritual of Panchen Thamsad Khyenpa and in the small commentary written by Acharya Yontan She Nyen. Therefore, it is necessary to do so. Generally, blessing offerings, tormas, etc., requires deity pride, and this is also the case here, and visualizing oneself as Vajrasattva is appropriate for the occasion. Deity pride is necessary for the perfect blessing of offerings, tormas, etc. Without deity pride
