Thirteen Deities of Chakrasamvara. Thirteen Deities of Chakrasamvara. The Thirteen Deities of Chakrasamvara reside. The very wisdom of innate bliss, free from obscurations. Possessing the ability to manifest in various forms of the Rupakaya. I prostrate to the glorious Heruka and his retinue mandala. Hereafter, I shall write down the method of accomplishment. Here, I will explain an easy-to-practice sadhana of the glorious Wheel of Bliss, the thirteen deities of Chakrasamvara. In general, there are many explanations of the Chakrasamvara sadhana, such as the single deity, the thirteen deities, the five deities, the solitary hero. And the sadhanas that are divided into the deities of the three wheels, each separately. In particular, regarding the thirteen deities, there appear to be many extensive and concise sadhanas from Indian texts, but here, I will proceed in a middling way. One who has received the Chakrasamvara empowerment should prepare the writing materials, offerings, torma, etc., as much as possible, in accordance with the place and mind. The refuge and bodhicitta are: I take refuge in the Three Jewels, heroes, and dakinis, Heruka and the glorious Yab-Yum. For the sake of all sentient beings, I generate the mind of enlightenment. Then, the visualization and recitation of Vajrasattva, if you want the extensive version, follow what is found elsewhere. The condensed version is: On a lotus and moon seat on the crown of one's head, from Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽) arises Vajrasattva, white Heruka, holding a vajra and bell. The consort Vajra Krodheshvari, white, holding a curved knife and skull cup, embracing him. On the moon seat at his heart, the letter Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽) is surrounded by the hundred-syllable mantra, from which light radiates, purifying the sins and obscurations of all sentient beings. All the blessings of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are gathered in the form of light and dissolve into the mantra garland. From this, a stream of nectar descends, entering from the crown of one's head, and one contemplates that all sins and obscurations are purified. Recite the hundred-syllable mantra of Heruka twenty-one or seven times. Then, "I, through ignorance and delusion," etc., should be done according to the common practice. The three purifications: Although they do not appear in some versions of this text, it is good to do them, and the method is: Shrī Heruka (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), He is the mind that is the source of all things, which is considered to be the nature of the cause, that is, observing the emptiness of the selflessness of phenomena. Ru is the selflessness of the person constructed by the net of discriminating thoughts that cling to the self of the person. Ka is suchness, the object and the subject are not contradictory, and do not exist separately.

And, Śrī refers to emptiness like space, similarly, the non-dual wisdom that follows is the meaning of E-vaṃ. From the state of emptiness, in an instant, one transforms into a blue Heruka, with one face and two hands, holding a vajra and a bell. The consort Vajravarahi is red, holding a curved knife and a skull cup, embracing him. Śrī Heruka Āḥ Hūṃ. Repeat three times. Then, from Oṃ A Ā to Ṃ Kṣa Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ. Repeat three times. At one's navel, a garland of vowels and consonants circles three times, from which emanates the assembly of Heruka deities, exiting from the right nostril, dispelling all obstacles. Returning again, they enter from the left nostril and dissolve into the mantra garland at the navel. Then, may all sentient beings possess the same realization as me, may they be free from suffering, may the happiness already attained be stable, may the mind and Suchness become one. Thus, meditate on the four immeasurables. The field of merit is: Visualize oneself as Heruka, with a blue Hūṃ (seed syllable) residing on a lotus and moon disc at the heart. Its rays of light purify the defilements of body, speech, and mind from beginningless time, from the crown of one's head to the soles of the feet. The body becomes as pure as crystal, and the rays of light emanating outward from the pores illuminate the assembly of deities of the guru and the Chakrasamvara mandala, surrounded by the assemblies of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, in the sky in front. Oṃ Vajra Samajaḥ. By whose kindness, the state of great bliss is attained. Etc., at the end of a section of the feast offering. Heruka, glorious heroes, pure vajra lords, and those great with attachment who follow desire, I prostrate to Vajravarahi. Places and nearby places and pure lands, gatherings and charnel grounds, heroes, heroines, and sovereign mothers, to all I respectfully prostrate. The goddesses arising from the Hūṃ (seed syllable) at one's heart make offerings. Oṃ Cakra Saṃvara Arghaṃ Pratīccha Svāhā, up to Śapta, and the sixteen vidyādharīs, or in brief: Oṃ Āḥ Vajra Ādarśe Hūṃ. Oṃ Āḥ Vajra Vīṇi Hūṃ. Oṃ Āḥ Vajra Ghaṇṭe Hūṃ. Oṃ Āḥ Vajra Rāse Hūṃ. Oṃ Āḥ Vajra Sparśe Hūṃ. Oṃ Āḥ Vajra Dharme Hūṃ. Then, offer with an eight-line praise, or it is also fine not to offer. The Three Jewels are my refuge. Etc., recite the daily confession three times, and then dissolve all the merit fields into one's heart.
