Having offered with clockwise and counterclockwise directions, also offering with the objects of enjoyment and the sixteen vidyādharīs, praising with the eight limbs and so on, in order to pacify the faults of excess and deficiency, recite the hundred-syllable mantra of Heruka. If it is related to the gathering, it is the meaning of blessing; if it is another time, then it should be in accordance with the occasion, and pray for the desired purpose. Half of the offering substances on the hands are mixed into the food and drink of the gathering or the food and drink that one eats oneself, and half are placed in another container and set aside. If done according to the latter method, some lamas believe that there is an auspicious connection for increasing enjoyment. Then, gather the substances that are on the left hand with the right hand and place them in the palm of the left hand. Then, holding them with the thumb and forefinger of the left hand, recite Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ (Tibetan: ༀ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम् आः हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ āḥ hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om Ah Hum), and apply them in order to the heart, tongue, and head, making a lotus shape and placing it on the head, and reciting Oṃ Yoga Śuddha (Tibetan: ༀ་ཡོ་ག་ཤུད་དྷཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम् योग शुद्ध, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ yoga śuddha, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Yoga, Pure) and so on, the deities of the hands enter from the crown of the head and are absorbed into oneself. Rub the remaining substances on the hands against each other and apply them to the head and limbs, it is said that they will become the best protection. These are according to what is said in the text, allowing for the case of performing external offerings individually. If combined with hand offerings, then the above wheel of the hands should be absorbed into oneself. In that case, it is not permissible to absorb the deities, so one should understand the difference. Now, according to the general method of the front generation, if one follows the tradition of performing external offerings and hand offerings, in order not to confuse the positions of the above deities, even though drawing lines and placing line bundles, and placing flower clusters there, are somewhat unrelated, it is thought that the flower clusters of offerings can be placed on the altar in accordance with the respective positions of the deities, and one should examine it. In the case of offering maṇḍalas of colored powders and paintings, without having separately accomplished the external offering maṇḍala, it is not permissible to use them as a means of inviting the deities to descend, so it is not necessary to recite Yoga Śuddha (Tibetan: ཡོ་ག་ཤུངྔྷཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: योग शुद्ध, Sanskrit Romanization: yoga śuddha, Literal Chinese Meaning: Yoga, Pure) and so on, one should understand the difference. This is a brief compilation of praise and auspicious wishes for the vase generation, front generation, and hand offerings of Hevajra Lūhipa, written by the monk Lobsang Tsering of Gongso, who possesses faith and discernment.
