Therefore, he does not see all things as he sees reality. This is because when he sees all things, he sees them through the way of dualistic appearance. When he sees reality, he sees it through the way of the disappearance of dualistic appearance. Therefore, these two ways of seeing are different. Omniscience sees the nature of phenomena by not seeing the conventional phenomena such as the aggregates. As it says in the Commentary on Entering (the Middle Way), "Without touching conditioned things, he manifests only the essence, therefore, having understood that, he is called a Buddha." Therefore, there is a need to say "in the manner of not seeing." Secondly, the way of seeing all things is through the way of dualistic appearance. As it says in the Mother Sutra, "Form is dualistic appearance, feeling is dualistic appearance," and so on. All conventional phenomena are phenomena of dualistic appearance. When wisdom such as omniscience realizes the conventional, not only are the object and subject different, but it also realizes from the appearance of the conventional. So, what is the meaning of being with dualistic appearance? There are two aspects to this: being with or without the appearance of the conventional, and being with or without the appearance of the object and subject being different. The first is: in the seeing and appearing of the meditative wisdom of a learner who directly realizes emptiness, the appearance of the conventional does not appear. When omniscience sees reality, the appearance of the conventional does not appear. These two are the meaning of the disappearance of dualistic appearance in emptiness. In general, the appearance of the conventional appearing is being with dualistic appearance. The second is: when an ordinary person says "ultimate truth," the conceptual thought that follows that sound appears as the object and subject being separate and distant. In the appearance of the wisdom that realizes emptiness in the way of general meaning, the appearance of the object and subject being different appears, which is called being with dualistic appearance. In the face of the wisdom that directly realizes emptiness, such dualistic appearance does not appear, which is the meaning of the disappearance of dualistic appearance in emptiness. Therefore, there is wisdom in which dualistic appearance disappears in emptiness, but there is no wisdom in which dualistic appearance disappears in the conventional.

So, which of these two views is more important? Both terms appear in the writings of Je Rinpoche. Gyaltsab Je and Khedrup Je both emphasize whether or not the appearance of the difference between object and subject ceases. Jetsun Tendarwa and others emphasize whether or not there is an appearance of conventionality. Whatever is done, there is actually no contradiction. But according to the latter view, omniscience realizes itself through the way of having dualistic appearances, because that is conventional truth. However, Gyaltsab Je believes that omniscience does not realize omniscience through any means of having or not having dualistic appearances. Khedrup Je says that although omniscience realizes itself through the way of ceasing dualistic appearances, that does not become ultimate truth. So, in Je Rinpoche's commentary on the "Entering the Middle Way," it says, "Even if it does not appear, the power of realization cannot be placed on the Buddha, because it is necessary to know after it appears, so in the face of the wisdom of knowing as many as there are, it is known in the way that the object and the subject appear as two." Is this contradictory? There is no contradiction according to either view, because that refers to the conventional that is different from omniscience. That is their view. Sixth, it is necessary to establish the system of the two truths, because if one understands the system of the two truths well, one will understand the intention of the Buddha's scriptures, thereby completing the accumulations and attaining enlightenment. As it says in the "Two Truths": "Those who know the distinction between the two truths will not be confused about the Buddha's teachings. They will accumulate all the collections without exception and will perfectly cross to the other shore." Furthermore, it is necessary to teach it, because if one wants liberation, one must understand the system of these two truths well. If one does not understand the way of establishing conventional terms, one will not realize the meaning of ultimate emptiness. If one does not realize that, one will not attain liberation. As it says in the "Root Wisdom": "Without relying on conventions, the ultimate meaning cannot be realized. If the ultimate meaning is not realized, nirvana cannot be attained." Furthermore, there is also a need to consider it from the perspective of the three: the basis, the path, and the result. From the perspective of the basis, it is necessary to understand the system of the two truths. If one understands that, the path, which is the practice of the union of skillful means and wisdom, will arise.

If this happens, one will attain the Dharmakaya as the fruit. As it is said: "Having well understood the nature of the two truths through reasoning, by the power of practicing the union of skillful means and wisdom." Therefore, it is said. Speaking: In general and in particular, the classification of the two truths, the system of the two truths according to Nagarjuna and Chandrakirti, the intention of the Lord Tsongkhapa, I have briefly explained as it is. This work, entitled "The Essence of the Good Explanation of the Classification of the Two Truths," was composed by the Shakya monk named Shedup (Explanation and Practice), at Chone Monastery, thinking that it might benefit some diligent individuals.
