Like it is said, "Except for 'ba' (བ), no cause for accomplishment is seen." This explains that it arises by relying on that basis for accomplishment. Because it is the meaning of being established in dependence, it pervades all phenomena. Similarly, as stated in the Root Wisdom, "Because there is no phenomenon that is not dependently originated, therefore, there is no phenomenon that is not empty." For this reason. Although arising from causes and conditions is not present in the unconditioned, being established by relying on one's own parts is present in all phenomena. That is, things with parts rely on their own parts, and the parts also rely on their respective other parts to be established, which is dependent origination. For example, a vase is established by relying on its own neck, base, belly, etc., and the neck, base, etc., are also established by relying on their left and right parts. If considered from a common perspective, it is like saying that meeting, relativity, and dependence are synonyms. If considered from an uncommon perspective, it should be understood as dependent origination that is merely designated by name or conceptual thought. Second, regarding reasons, there are two: the actual and the explanation of its reasoning. First, the eight aspects of dependent origination, such as arising and ceasing, are not the nature of the object of the stainless meditative wisdom that directly realizes the nature of reality. If it were that nature, then how that wisdom observes the nature of reality must exist in the field of observation. If it exists there, then the situation must be true as seen by that wisdom. If it is so true, then it must be established as the ultimate reality, but it is not established there, because apart from the nature of reality, no conventional phenomena appear in the field of that wisdom. If it is indeed a conventional phenomenon, but it is established in that field of observation, then it would be the fault of being truly established, because it would be harmed by the reasons that will be explained next. Second, explaining the reasoning of harm, there are two: explaining how to prevent truly established arising, and explaining other ways of preventing it. The first has three: the sign of dependent origination, the Vajra Splinter, and reasons other than that. First, external and internal objects are the subject of the proposition, they do not arise by their own nature, because they arise by relying on their own causes and conditions. The pervasion exists, because if it arises by relying on causes and conditions, then
