Therefore, the bindu is again projected upwards from the central channel, touching the Brahma aperture slightly and then lowered again. In this way, practicing in a rotating manner for seven or three days, etc., signs of accomplishment will appear, such as the crown of the head itching or swelling and becoming stiff. Finally, contemplate that Amitabha enters from your own crown and enters the heart in the form of Amitayus. Recite ama rani. Second, at the time of your own death, contemplate Amitabha at your crown as before, and recite up to the twenty-one verses of the seven-branch prayer. Having accomplished the profound path of transference... Traveling in the sky through transference... Please protect me from the fear of Yama, the tormentor. Please liberate me from the terrifying straits of the bardo. As soon as I die and transfer from here, may the hook of your compassionate rays lead me to the supreme pure land of Sukhavati. There is no other hope, please hold me with compassion. After reciting these words many times, pray by saying, "After praying like this, by saying 'Hika', the bindu is projected upwards from the central channel and dissolves into the heart of Amitabha at the crown of the head." In this way, like an arrow shot, one goes to Sukhavati. Contemplate that the consciousness emerges from the heart of the protector and is born miraculously in the center of a lotus. Then make offerings and aspirations, etc. This method should not be done just once, but should be applied according to the circumstances. Third, when applying it to others, one should know the method of generating Amitabha at the crown of the deceased, etc. It is also acceptable to change "having accomplished transference" to "having reached." Third, there are three ways to practice transference based on Maitreya: practicing for oneself, applying it to oneself, and applying it to others. First, after taking refuge, etc., the straight central channel of one's own body, like an arrow shaft, has its lower end below the navel and its upper end slightly touching the Brahma aperture. In the heart, one's own mind, the bindu, is like a mustard seed, white, shining, burning, and almost about to fly away. In the space above one's own crown, in the pure realm, is the Tushita Dharma Palace. Maitreya, golden in color, radiating a million rays of sunlight, with his two hands turning the Dharma wheel, the marks and signs blazing with light, with a joyful smile, wearing the three Dharma robes, possessing all faultless qualities.

In whatever form you manifestly dwell, To the regent of the Buddhas, Mipham Chökyi Rinpoche, I prostrate with reverence through the three doors to countless emanations. I offer actual and mentally created clouds of offerings like an ocean, Together with my body, possessions, and collections of merit. I confess each and every sin and downfall of the three doors. I rejoice in the virtue of all beings by nature. I request you to remain steadfast for hundreds of eons without passing into sorrow, And to turn the profound and vast wheel of Dharma for the sake of beings. I dedicate this and all other virtues to great enlightenment. To Jetsun Jampa Gonpo, the embodiment of all refuges, I pray with intense longing and fervent devotion. Grant your blessings to master the profound path of transference. Grant your blessings to be born in the Tushita heaven. Having prayed as much as possible, by praying in this way, from the heart of Jampa Gonpo, A tube of light extends forth, And encircles and penetrates the crown aperture of my own head. Again, a ray of light appears like an iron hook, Passing through the light tube from my own crown aperture, Entering the central channel, upon the bindu of consciousness, Establishing and drawing the bindu upwards to the crown aperture, Touching it slightly and then descending again to the heart. Saying and contemplating this, while drawing the lower wind upwards, by saying "ഹിഃཀ(藏文,梵文天城体,hiḥka,ha-ka)", the bindu is also propelled upwards. By practicing again in a descending manner for seven or three days, signs will appear. The second method is: At the time of one's own death, having done as before, Grant your blessings to be born in the Tushita heaven. After reciting this many times, I beseech you to protect me from the suffering of delusion in the bardo, And from the fears of Yama in the lower realms. I pray, compassionate protector Jampa Gonpo, As soon as I die and transmigrate from here, With the iron hook of your compassionate light, Surely draw me to that Tushita heaven. There is no other refuge, please look upon me with compassion. Having prayed in this way, from the heart of Jampa Gonpo, As said before, the bindu is drawn and goes like a shooting star, Going and dissolving into the heart of the Jetsun. Saying "ཧཱི་ཀ་ཕཊ(藏文,梵文天城体,hīḥka phaṭ,hei pa-te)" and contemplating, it is not certain to be accomplished in just one time, so do as much as possible. Consciousness reappears, in the Joyful Dharma-holding heaven, Being miraculously born in the center of a lotus heart, Directly seeing the beautiful face of Mipham Chökyi Wangchuk, Insatiably drinking the nectar of his speech.
