Everything is transformed into the form of light and yellow nectar, especially the depletion of your life force from the earth element is restored. Generate the faith that you have attained the deathless life of a vidyadhara! Thus, and so on, as before. To summarize these, rays of light radiate, transforming all the brightness and power of the earth, water, fire, wind, and space elements of the world into light and nectar of five colors, gathering them together, and the order of things should be understood with reason. Second, restoring diminished strength and merit: Again, from the garland of mantras, rays of light radiate. All the blessings, abilities, power, and merit of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, as well as the merit, strength, and splendor of gods, nagas, humans, and so on, and the life, merit, strength, and splendor of all sentient beings, and the power of medicine and mantras, etc., in short, all the perfect wealth of the world, the eight auspicious symbols, the seven royal emblems, the eight auspicious substances, etc., are all invoked. In particular, the diminished strength and merit of you all are restored. Thus, and so on, as before. Third, restoring broken vows and commitments: Again, from the garland of mantras, rays of light radiate. All the blessings of the body, speech, and mind of all the gurus, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas are transformed into white, red, and blue nectar, as well as images, scriptures, and vajra bells, etc. In particular, all the faults of your broken vows and commitments are purified, and the broken vows and commitments are restored. Thus, and so on, as before. If specifically performing the summoning of life, again, from the garland of mantras, rays of light radiate. All the perfect life of all beings and noble ones, especially all the perfect splendor of the life of Buddha Amitayus, is transformed into the nectar of deathless life. In particular, all the faults of your diminished life are purified, and the diminished life is restored. Thus, and so on, as before. If performing a hundred offerings, etc., from summoning the increase of life up to here, it can be done extensively or briefly. Third, absorbing life: Invoke Amitayus, generated in front, onto the crown of your heads. Visualize the vase being placed on your head or already placed.

May you pacify all the unfavorable conditions that obstruct the illness, evil spirits, and obstacles of these disciples. May you liberate them from untimely death. May you grant them long life. Recite the long mantra once, and visualize Amitayus dissolving into light and nectar, entering from the crown of your heads and dissolving into your hearts, thereby being blessed. Like "Ga Phud," etc., like "untimely death," etc., like thousands of obstacles, Brahma and Ishvara, etc., offer auspicious wishes. In general, partaking of the longevity pills that have been accomplished, and performing the longevity empowerment in this way, has two main benefits and virtues: temporarily, one lives long, and in the future, there is a connection to be born in Sukhavati. In particular, the object of focus is freed from untimely death. The method of accomplishing longevity pills and bestowing longevity empowerment through Amitayus, called "Destroying the Lord of Death, Bestowing the Glory of Immortality," was requested by my disciple, the abbot renunciate Sherab Tashi, thinking to benefit one or two others. At that time, the Shakya monk named Shedrup, relying on the many instructions composed by the previous lamas, appropriately compiled it at Chone Monastery. The abbot named Patience, who combines faith and wisdom, had it printed with faith. May this virtue cause all beings to be freed from untimely death temporarily, and in the future, be born in Sukhavati and be cared for by Amitayus and his sons. Auspicious! Virtuous! The method of accomplishing longevity pills and bestowing longevity empowerment, "Bestowing the Glory of Immortality."
