The three hundred thousand troops gathered from the three, including Samvana, went with the king and were led to the land of King Mahendrasena. When the army arrived, the king was unhappy and sat in sorrow. Prince Dubrasaha asked: "Father, why are you so unhappy?" The father replied: "I am unhappy because the armies of three kings have come." The prince said: "Father, please do not be unhappy. I can handle these armies." The father said: "Very well." Then, the prince set out with two hundred thousand troops, including five hundred remarkable sons of ministers. When they fought, he generated iron moles from between his eyebrows, transformed his entire body into iron, and charged forward in great anger. Dubrasaha's army was victorious and returned. The father said: "Son, it is excellent that you have fought against such an army of three kings and won! From now on, you shall rule the kingdom. I will renounce the world." Having said this, he entrusted the kingdom to his son. For twelve years thereafter, he fought against the armies of the three kings, and many troops gradually approached. The three kings were also captured and eliminated. From then on, he became the great king of Jambudvipa. Afterward, the king said to the ministers: "Although I am happy to be the king of Jambudvipa, I am unhappy because the sin of killing so many beings is great. How can this sin be purified?" The ministers replied: "In the city of Pataliputra, there is a Dharma master who knows the three pitakas, a Brahmin named Akhanadrada's son, a monastic with disciples, residing in a monastery. If he is invited, he can purify the sin." The king was delighted and invited the monastic bhikshu with disciples. The king prostrated to him and asked: "By what means can sins be purified?" He said: "If you make offerings to the Three Jewels and take refuge for twelve years, sins will be purified." Then, he sent invitations to all the monks in Jambudvipa, gathering them all in Kausambi, and forbade them from practicing Dharma in other places. The monks on the road were [threatened] by wild animals, savages, and water, etc.

Mostly wasted, about a hundred thousand people went to the king. After they went, the king offered food and made offerings. Then, the monks asked each other: Who is your Khenpo? Where did your disciples go? Who is your Dharma friend? Like this, they asked each other. Then they talked about being killed by wild animals and savages, being washed away by water, and dying from diseases, and so on. Everyone started to grieve, crying and beating their chests. After that, the king advised them not to grieve, but the monks did not listen, and the king was also unhappy, lying face down. While lying down, he prayed: Now there is no refuge for the worldly Sangha, may I see an Arhat. Then, the worldly gods prophesied in a dream: On the Gandhamadana mountain, there lives an Arhat named Deva, the son of Suratrana Sha. If you invite him, he will eliminate sins and also dispel doubts. After the king woke up from his dream, he immediately sent messengers to invite the noble one, made offerings and prostrated. Then, on the night of the fourteenth, in the gathering of the Sangha, the newly joined monks requested the Khenpo and disciples to explain the Vinaya. The scholar Khenpo said: If a person has no eyes, nose, and ears, what is the use of a mirror? Even if I explain the Vinaya, you will not act according to the Vinaya. What is the use of explaining the Vinaya to those who do not protect the Dharma and precepts? The Arhat Deva said like a lion's roar: I have received the Dharma and precepts of the Blessed One Shakyamuni Buddha, and until now I have not damaged even a tip of grass. Do not say that, explain the Vinaya. After the scholar Khenpo knew that he was an Arhat, he was very ashamed and sat in silence. Then, the disciple of the scholar Khenpo, a monk named Dpung Gyen, stood up from his seat and said to the Arhat: You have neither precepts nor do you know the Vinaya, why do you despise my Khenpo who is proficient in the three pitakas? He angrily beat the Arhat and killed him. After that, a Yaksha named Sho Dong, who loves the sacred Dharma, appeared holding a vajra, and said to the monk Dpung Gyen: Why did you
